Range requirement is cringe even for ranged especially in m+. This nerf also feels a bit heavy handed given the alternative trinkets available. Maybe buff some dungeon trinkets since a lot of them suck.
This might actually be Wowheads fault... and that's funny. Honestly, there were other trinkets that are better for numerous melee so this was actually uncalled for, hope they buff it at least 25% so its not a dead drop now.

Good. A trinket that is BIS for basically everyone except strength users was going to be a nightmare to get,
Could have just let range have it but because melee users whined they just dumpstered it for everybody.I hate this style of balance but, it was clearly meant to be ranged only...People didn't need to cry about it.
I definitely don't think this trinket should've been BIS for everyone but now no one is going to use it, and that leaves only one raid trinket that's good and it is the very rare one. Very excited to farm and use two on-use dungeon trinkets. The trinket needed a nerf, but now it's unusable to the specs it was intended for.. I just hope I'm wrong.
I don't mind this getting nerfed a little since it was BiS for everything that wasn't a Warlock, but a 50% nerf to both parts of the trinket makes it absolutely TERRIBLE now.

20 yard range requirement makes this tough for evoker. Basically have 5 yards to exist within if they want to use this trinket. Not sure if that's intended or not.
F*ck the melee gamers that complained about an trinket they cant loot or is intended forblizzard please explain why you want every single ranged dps to run idol of decay from brackenhide without any variation, the passive proc trinkets this tier are garbage
this change sucks for evokers, could’ve achieved the same thing with like a ~15 yd min distance or just limit it by class. Nerfing it by 50% is also so heavy handed :| it doesn’t impact me much as a healer Main but still sucks to see this get nerfed bc melee were drooling over it

This trinket was better than most others but not by 50% LOL. Completely gutted.
Melee players can't fathom a trinket not being for them, but shrug whenever there are melee only trinkets.

I usually don't comment, but man, this sucks :( I don't imagine I'll ever sit at 20+ yards with this, not as devastation, just not gonna happen. Better to stack near melee for most ranges anyway... Why not make the restriction that melee auto attacks lengthen the timer or sth.? I guess I won't use this then, I was looking forward to it :(
