Great one! They were barely visible in the chaos often!
This will help a lot
BOOOOOOOOOO! I like the challenge! It was actually hard to see.
I don't know about you, but mechanics that are hard to see are not "challenging" or "interesting". Having them still be random spawns that can be relatively baited to certain locations is fine, but we have to be able to see the graphic. I don't know how this visual got past QA testers.
The modified version isn't exactly their best work when it comes to a "cave-in" type AoE effect.
Barely visible mechanics aren't challenging, they're just poorly designed.
I mean. Stonequake is vastly harder to see and if anything needed a bit of a bump in visibility it was that one imo. Unless Wowhead messed up which spell ID they meant to say and they meant Stonequake the very faint grey circle with pebbles in it after the brown circle that was stonequake was done. If that's the case then yes absolutely it needed to be tweaked for visibility.
dam if its the pebbles seen in the brown circle above then heck yea it needed something, good!
Fantastic change, it was painfully hard to see
Thank god.
Ah yes, this is definitely the problem with Sludgefist, and not the extraordinarily overtuned nature of his health and damage or anything.
this fight is still severely overtuned, specifically for groups on the smaller side. it's unironically more tightly tuned than several mythic ny'alotha fights were (vexiona, shad'har, skitra, maut, il'gynoth all took my guild fewer pulls to clear than NORMAL sludgefist).the fight actually gets a LOT easier with a larger group size; we did about 40 pulls with a smaller group (11 dps) and had on average about 40k dps (~3.6k ea) and were unable to meet the dps check; we increased the group size (up to 19 dps) and had a kill in 4 pulls with an average dps of about 60k (~3.1k ea)i'm not sure if they just didn't do any testing in smaller groups, but it's baffling how poor the tuning of this encounter currently is, especially considering every other fight we were able to clear in 1-3 pulls, including sire denathrius, going in completely blind to all of them.
I wish there was a change for Rift Blast (Artificer Xy'Mox). I find them really hard to see sometimes
