Good decision totally. Great director. I can't wait to see some WoW movies!

I like Sam, Spider-Man was a good series. He's a good director. Good choice, Blizzard! =)Lets just hope he's read up on his WoW Lore, eh?
The Chris Metzen is strong with this one....
Hopefully it will be the quality of Spiderman 1 and not Spiderman 3. That series dropped off pretty hard.
Meh, I don't know whether it's so great. Spiderman was good and all that, but I've seen some of the Legend of the Seeker stuff. If you've read the books, then the show isn't very true to the books. And Legend of the seeker is more in the same genre as WoW than Spiderman is. So hopefully Blizz is very protective about the plot for the movie . . .
I'm sure Blizzard made this choice for a good reason, and wouldn't do so if they did not 100% think it would turn out great. They have made the right choices in the past and shall continue to do so. From marketing, to in game patches... oh wait...All jokes aside I am looking forward to this. Anyone think there would be some significant issues for releasing this world wide? The whole China and (un)death thing just came to my mind.
Raimi strikes me as a bit of a comic and gaming geek anyway. And he's Joxer's older brother - it can't be bad!I just wonder where we'll see Ted in a cameo in the WoW movie.I think it should turn out pretty good, personally. Legend of the Seeker didn't turn out that close to the books, but then again it strikes me as somewhat low-budget - that, and to be fair, they're trying to pull a TV series' worth of material out of a series that, on the whole, is pretty contiguous rather than episodic. As an aside - I want Bruce Campbell as the director of SI:7!One thing important to note based on the article I read: Metzen is co-directing the film.
Why do I forsee Bruce Campbell as Saurfang?
