That's Awesome! Way to represent Scarlet Crusade SeeD!
Wow!My home server is Scarlet Crusade, and I was busy roleplaying while this was all going on (shame on me), and so I didn't even realize what was happening. I'm happy to see that some people on my server are helping to make a difference :D Fighting breast cancer, one pink haired gnome at a time!
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
Final Fantasy 8 reference!
That's pretty damn awesome, it's always nice to players commited to real things such important as breast cancer. Fight on, gnomes!
Yay! gnomes are finally good for something! I'll think twice next time I line myself up for a punt.On a serious note: WTG guys, my grandmother died from breast cancer... thanks for spreading the word!
I do not play on this server, but I wish I had known as I would have rolled a toon just for this. It has to be one of the most worthwile events that I am aware of taking place in WoW. Hats off to all those that attended.
Nice job! Great idea !
thats just awesome, great idea!
I absolutely ADORE this, and wish I had known about it ahead of time! I too would have rolled up a toon JUST for this! Such a good cause, and it looks like it was a lot of FUN, to boot!I hope they do this again next year, and I will be there if I can!
Agreed. I was thinking of coming until I read "they reached a total of 160 gnomes." I'll definitely try to come next year.
I'd love to come next year. There should be more advertisment for this wonderful guild! :D
Very impressive. Thank you to those involved for doing this. :)
Apolerius, officer of <SeeD> here! Just to note guys, this is definitely going to be an annual thing, so if you missed it this year, keep an eye on the realm forums next year!
Hi everyone! Bram (or Bramalina, your lovely leader gnome in a purple wizard hat) here, Thank you everyone for the phenomenal amount of support. The event was a complete hit, and we're already planning on doing another one similar to it next year to include those who missed out this time around. The feedback we've received has been overwhelmingly positive, and it truly is wonderful that our event was featured here on Wowhead. Thank you! I have high hopes that those involved will continue to spread the word about early detection, and ask their loved ones to get screened on an annual basis. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the cure. It was all of you that made it as epic as it turned out to be. :DAlso, the ribbon at the end came together on it's own. That was pretty amazing in itself. Kudos, ladies and gentlemen!
Go <SeeD>! I wish me and my friend hadn't transferred off, I would've came to this. Also, they got Server First Halion kill.
This is hands down one of the best ideas and most charitable acts that I've seen WoW players come up with. Can we pre-vote a sticky to sign up for next year's run?
