Good job Blizzard.
Yes. According to the reports he was an avid player. The funniest Man of my generation. Will miss him greatly
GG Blizzard! Great tribute to an awesome man and personality.
I might be the only one who thinks this is a little overboard. :/ I mean honestly what had Robin Williams done in regards to the Warcraft franchise to deserve such a representation? I don't mean any disrespect but I just don't understand why Blizzard would do so much for this.
So cool that he'll be remembered in-game! RIP Robin.
very good job blizz! rip robin, i will visit your npc once a day :D
GJ Blizzard
Gj blizz !
Can't wait to go and find these!
GOOOOOD MORNING DRAEENOOOORRR!
I am glad that Blizzard makes tribute NPC's for a famous person who we all miss. What I'm saying next has nothing to do with Robin Williams, but it still has to do with someone who was famous somewhere and died just recently. She died in a car crash and I know this won't be acknowledged but if it will be, she was in South Korea and she went by EunB. Blizzard you are very sweet for the tributes to the famous, and I will look forward to seeing the Robins in game, and if you show love in South Korea and make a tribute to EunB in game, I will look forward to that too ^-^
It would be nice to see an NPC named Alan running away from fiery creatures in the Tannan jungle or in some place jumanji-like then waiting for someone to roll 5 or 8 and get him out of that nightmare. loljust a though
It is a great thing to do for such a great personality. They should have an annual event on the day that he left this world, so all we can pay our respect and always show our appreciation.
After almost a decade of using WoWhead, this is my first ever post ... because to me .. it counts .../silentsaluteTo a great individual despite all his faults ... what he brought to our world made people smile and you can't ask for more than that.Thank you Blizzard for this memorial.
Also like to mentioned that while showing my friend this place. He noticed the stack of bowls and we both think it may be a ref to HOOK since Robin first seen empty bowls and other dishes at first. Of course that is until he began to "believe" in the food that was there. And finally up on a ledge there are a few more things up there. Another elek toy with a Murloc toy riding it as well as a ball near a dog leash, 3 bones, and a small cage. You can see them using Far Sight, Eagle Eye, or a few other ways.
I'm on the beta now and he's on an island and there is no special condition to his being there. So, don't fret about server resets or hostile mobs. It's a quiet place. (Probably nice for some quiet RP and selfies.) There's his Mork landing egg off to the side. Go up to the lamp, tweak the gold cogwheel, and a genie NPC pops up. HIs coordinates are Talador 12.9, 79.0. It's an island to the southwest of Talador. It's the larger of the two that I see on the current map.
