Warriors CAN target a mob with intimidating shout to do a targeted "cower in place" effect that does indeed work on incorp. Just making sure that is known.
Casting during most bosses as a tank really isn't that dangerous usually. Casting during trash most of the time will probably get you killed though.Relying on healers to do both of them on some of the tyrannical bosses just isn't really an option, especially the ones with fairly brutal rot damage. The affix is literally a DPS/Healer affix, where you should have 2 solid CCs on DPS in an event where the healer must heal. Warlocks and all paladin specializations have the ability to grab two, making them fairly amazing for this week.DKs and warriors are still really awful at them. Even if control undead still worked it's awful if you play UH to lose your pet for 20 seconds.
Priests and DKs already have insane utility in M+, its fine if they can deal with the affix, but giving it a positive effect on the group again is just insane. Just let them deal with the affix mobs, no need to provide another unique M+ utility with damage reduction.
for some reason - lot of people here are crying about being forced to grab some talent to counter affix - i have this weird feeling like you are that person not taking dispell curse to help priest out in Temple of Jade Serpent (where on high keys the dispell mechanic would just outright kill you) or that you never touched explosive in your life
Honestly, it's a garbage affix. but it would be great if you fix it spawning in africa... For example, in NL we had an incorporeal spawn far away behind the boss during the hide mechanic meaning we could'nt cc, and in legacy of tyr on emberon the affix spawns in intermission on the opposite side of room making it hard to see and cc. I'm not a fan of the affix, but atleast it's playable.
Or they could just make only 1 mob appear on bosses. Like having 2 of them appear in VP on Altairus when you are getting knocked up into the air by tornado is ass.
