Those anima costs are just crazy. I struggle to even make 1500 per week, because I can't be arsed to spend one hour each day going from zone to zone to do boring world quests...
Is there any real profit in upgrading court to tier 5? If even the final mounts drops on t4...
I just feel sorry for the poor fella that sat through and completed Ember Court to make this guide.
Anima costs are prohibitive all around, whether you make 1500 anima a day (which isn't possible most days unless you play 8/9 hours a day) or 1500 a week, it's plain bad faith to say that people who complain about anima rewards being too expensive want everything handed out to them immediatly, sanctum upgrades cost a fortune, transmog pieces cost a fortune, mounts cost a fortune, the renown set costs something like 30k anima without counting the weapons. If you do your mission table you might easily spend 200/250+ anima per day just to send your followers, there's the trap I think many people fell into at some point at least once to heal your followers, etc. It's just bad
The comment section of wowhead proves again and again that there are people playing wow without liking it, without having fun.Maybe those people should ask themself why they still play a game they do not like anymore.
not everyone enjoys monotonous gameplay. the world quests are in fact tedious, and repetitious, lacking in variety and always will be that way that is just how this game has become a big grind gotta keep the no lifer's happy and the cash flowing. Heaven forbid the world quests could become something new and fresh instead of kill this and collect that or do both
You need a lot of dedication for the sanctum upgrades. Can't say it's worth it tho.

So to everyone complaining about how "Easy" it is to get anima, if you play in an actual progressing pve guild, those WQ provide 0 player power and with the addition of valor points, you can either run the same dungeon 10x trying to get an item to upgrade with value, OR you can go around doing WQ for anima and cosmetic rewards. In BFA and Legion, the WQ were directly tied to player power and cosmetics were tied around the content, not as a direct competition to your time for it. This has been true for every expac, an easy example is the argent tourny, it had a boat load of cosmetic rewards you unlocked through dailies but also had rewards that impacted player power, this was true with almost every rep since vanilla. Shadowlands is 2 completely separate systems with no overlap at all so if you only have "X" amount of time to play in a day, you would need to literally have no life outside of wow in order to attempt to keep up with the systems. (Note: all expacs have had a grind, but this one has 2 to 3 is you include pvp, 1 for cosmetics, and one for player power through M+ and raid, and another through pvp vendor.) Oh and don't forget there are 4 of these cov.
If y'all are living in M+ like you claim you are then you're getting around 100 anima an hour. Add in the world boss and the 1190 you get from clearing CN and you're still getting almost 2.5k a week from doing exactly the content you're claiming to do. If you manage to do the two Broker quest dungeons as part of your rotation then there's another 350. At this point you have done a grand total of one world quest (the world boss) and achieved almost 3k. You can also exclusively use your mission table as an additional source of anima if you want, getting you another ~100 or so a day without even logging in to the game.I would love a speed-up in the amount of anima we receive but if you are getting less than 2k a week on your "progression character" then you actually aren't playing the game that much. Which is fine, but it's anticipated that playing less will reward you less.
