Fantastic change. It single-handedly made me more enthused to play my holy paladin and resto shaman alts more often, as these new healing traits are pretty fun on them, especially on rank 3(spirit of preservation specifically).
yeah and it would be much better to farm R4 more than just for cosmetic, if all others get R3 when you get 54
This is a great decision, as the dailies arent fun and it feels more like work than progress whenever I decide to do them. I've since stopped, so I'm still not Revered, but still a good change.
Great, I was 3k away from Exalted, thanks Blizz x) All things considered tho, this is good :p
I knew it, good change... I didn't waste my time to grind these luckily.
As a shadow priest I welcome the availability of Breath of Dying as it will increase my horribly nerfed dps. Wait. Everyone else will have it too? Guess I'll wait for 8.31? Shadow lands? Can these vendors also sell me back my nerfed damage? Maybe purchase a Shadow Word: Death tome?"Updates" like these make me happy and terribly confused at the same time"We notice that we put too much of a time gate on these specific essences, so we'll reduce the requirements substantially." Good for you guys! You notice a problem and you fix it to make your player base content! But then there's..."We notice that a lot of people enjoy playing alts, but there are HUGE grinds even after our "nerfs" to those requirements on older content to make your toons somewhat competitive. So we will not be implementing an account wide essence system in any way. Working as intended.""We see that you are upset with a Demon Hunter that had 100+ corruption with 6 high level corruption pieces equipped that swooped down and destroyed you in 3 seconds with no repercussions. Enjoy your dirt nap. Working as intended.""We see that our Shadow Priest nerfs are making the class not viable in the new mythic raid. We realize that this is an expansion where N'Zoth is corrupting our very plane of existence with the very essence of where Shadow Priests obtain their power from. This would essentially make shadow priests more powerful due to the fact that they would be able to access their powers more easily. But no. We're going to nerf you so hard because you do void things and we hate void things this expansion. Warlocks didn't cry as much during the Burning Crusade or Legion. Get it together. Working as intended.
I'm sorry to be the wet blanket here and if people enjoy grinding and researching all this stuff then more power to them. But honestly after 14 years of playing this game I read all this and just think, 'it seems a lot easier to just not play at all.' This expansion hasn't been enjoyable to me in the slightest and I still don't even understand most of the stuff in 8.3. What I have done makes little sense and I'm certainly not grinding on multiple characters for essences that will be obsolete in 6 months. It's more fun for me to watch a movie or something. Maybe I'm just old now? If Shadowlands isn't an improvement on all these multiple, confusing, disconnected systems then I won't be playing that either.
Someone at Blizzard getting fired?
