Great idea. Even as horde main (some of the Alliance players appear to view us as evil incarnate) I am civilized enough to acknowledge the fact that the Alliance is in need of druids. Kul Tiran Humans look awesome in generell and I certainly will play one. Probably not as druid but still, awesome race.
Considering the Horde's allied race is an orc, it would be 100% possible that Alliance would get another human. (I mean look at the xparc art, its orcs vs humans) Anywho while I wouldn't care if they were druids, the suggested speculation for that tree construct thing for moonkin form would be unacceptable, For 2 reasons, 1. horde get thier own unique model for the new trolls, it would be unfair to just slap a reskin on something for alliance. 2. its just absolutely hideous. That being said, I just hope they will consider making all moonkin have unique racial forms.
I love the Zandalari druid stuff. I will immediately race change when I'm able to do so. I would LOVE for the alliance to get a likewise awesome out there druid race.
This would be a great idea. Especially if you have it involved with witches and other occult events. Despite the naysayers it would give many people a way to enjoy different shape humans and more enjoyable role playing experience for rp servers. Skinny warlock? Yes thank you. Fat tank? Why i don't mind if i do! I support Kul'tiras druids, but I am still waiting on Naga Blizz!
I play mostly Horde and i love dinosaurs, but i do have to say...these looks waaaaaaaaay better (to me) than the Zanda Trolls forms...i would probably ditch mine for one of these.
I don't like the idea of the wicker monsters being druid forms. Sure, I WANT them, but as hunter pets. I'd prefer human druids being normal animals, rather than fancy animals with odd traits like elf ears or tusks.
At first I was like "ugh, human druids?" but I am really digging those wicker forms. It looks like the beast uses the wolf skeleton and animations though so that's probably not quite what they'd look like.
Kul'tirans are Gilneans who traveled across the sea. Gilneans have strong ties to Paganism, Hallow's End and just in general. Kul'Tirans are most definitely druids, just like worgens. They are linked close to nature. Just look at Gilneas, they literally blend in.Kul'Tirans being also linked to Paganism and Witchcraft, having Wickers at shape shift forms would definitely be badass.I don't see a problem with Kultirans either. People say they are just more humans, saying that is all the Alliance is. I disagree greatly with that. Why do people want Valkyr? All they are is humans. And Kul'tirans are offspring between Drust, which are ancient valkyr and humans.
If Kul Tirans became an Allied Race, given Druid as a class AND had those forms, then I'd be down with it completely. At the same time, Blizz, give Blood Elves the same opportunity. Yes, I know the lore in this situation isn't as apparent, but you developed it and it can exist.
Gilnean ppl had druidic traditions in their loooooooong gone past, but it was "forgotten" and it kinda have become "folklore". when a non-druid tries to speak with Celestine of the Harvest her response is that "you are not initiated in the old ways" and it says a lot to us about these kul tiran druids class fantasy. Since the kul tiran are gilnean colonizers who came to this island, they brought these old traditions with them, but unlike gilneans they seem to have preserved it even more than the "harvest witches" of the latter. Plus there's the connection of kul tiras original habitants, the drust, with nature and druidic magic (since their ghosts are what is causing this corruption), so one can assume that this old land is also connected with an ancient past of nature magic and druidic lore. To sum up it's kinda dumb and narrow-minded to assume that HOOMANS can't be druids because they're too "industrial" or less protective of nature because they live inside stone cities, etc since THIS group of humans clearly are connected with the forests of Kul Tiras and have this rich context to become druids. And it's still a better fitting druid fantasy than dinossaurs forced upon a class just to make dinomancers playable.
What a sad allied race to get... Why could they be Vrykul or something? I'm hoping this is pure speculation.
