Does the 660 conquest gear scale down in pve?
It's 660 in PVE, 690 in PVP.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the primal priest gear. It reminds me of a druid, and it just looks like they put about 1 minute of work into it. It looks like some crappy crafted or quest gear set. We have stuff like the lock set, with bones, fire, and glowing eyes. Then the warrior with spiky plated shoulders and a big awesome bulky belt. And then there is the insanely underwhelming priest gear, with:>feathers>feathers>feathers>and OMG WHAT IS THAT Oh wait its just more feathers in a different color.
Oh man, that elite hunter gear is amazing. Best set this expansion so far... too bad I'll never be able to have it... /sadface
So what should I do with all these honor points before I hit 100? Is there anything available to buy at low lvl that will benefit me once I hit 100? or should I just hit 100 first? Got 4000 Honor points sitting here rotting away.
About the gearing order, it's true that there is no set priority, but if you already have the two pvp trinkets that you buy with honor and thus the 10% pvp damage reduction, I would suggest focusing on the core pieces first - head, shoulder, chest, hands, legs - as they give you the biggest stat bumps and set bonuses. With the 7250 points for the season before you can buy weapon, the net weapon cost being 3500 pts and assuming you don't increase your weekly cap above 1700:You can spend (7250 - 3500 = 3750) 3,750 conquest points in total any way you like for the first 4 weeks of the season and still have enough points at the 4th week to buy the weapons. To ensure you get a weapon as soon as you can (without increasing point cap), just buy two 1750 priced pieces OR one 2250 and one 1250 piece, and that's it.Doing it this way, on the 5th week you'll be able to buy your weapons after winning 3 matches, and then when you complete your 5th week cap you'll have enough for one more piece of armor/accessory.
Just wanted to point in out that you CAN enchant MOP speed chants on Primal Aspirant's Boots (600 ilvl pvp). And get extra 10% speed (YES, it stacks with new speed chants).
Focus on obtaining the cheap 1250honor pieces first imo (unless you are a weapon based class).Feels bad to buy 2250 pts worth of legs to just have them drop in your next work order.
Wowhead should have a PvP guides section. This is really great but after a few more news updates it will be buried and become hard to find. Plus it would encourage more people to write various PvP guides.Cheers!
Whats the difference between the Set bonus conquest pieces and the non-set pieces? I know they look different, and one obviously has a set bonus, but why would anyone go with the non-set piece? They both have the same stats. What I am talking about... A druid helm for example:Primal Gladiator's Dragonhide Helm and then a piece like this Primal Gladiator's Helm. Anyone have any clues as to what the difference is and why the non-set main pieces exist?
I wish they would make Rogue gear more subtle (again?). How am I suppossed to walk silently with those large shoulders. Not to mention hearing anyhting with that huge, view obscuring, metal helmet.
I am going to start PVP for the first time after playing PVE for 10 years. I play Human and i do not have a freedom trinket. what shall i do then? And, what is a freedom trinket?
Guide is either outdated or otherwise wrong on these 2 things: work orders require 20 broken bones instead of 10, and you gain 3 HPs per Artifact fragment instead of 1.
Can I apply these steps to the game as of today? I understand Item Level would be different.
