I bought a copy of BFA while it was on sale at a local store a couple of weeks ago for the level boost. You need to add a new starter edition license to your battle.net account (you can even RAF it with yourself) and apply the new BFA license to that account. I then used that 110 boost on my main BFA account. The title isn't wrong but its more roundabout than just buying a 110 boost directly.
Title: Battle For Azeroth Summer Sale for lvl 110 Character BoostWhat it is: BFA is on sale for the Summer Sale, allowing you to boost a starter on the same account in order to get a twenty dollar 110 boost on your main account.Great deal. <3
That's nice and all for the people who collect things in the game or want a "cheap" boost, but I'd rather want some character services on discount.I want to do some race switcheroos on my alts, after I unlocked all allied races, but the base price is way too much for this (at least for multiple characters).
Can someone confirm that still works with the boost for your main acc ? I thought they changed it and works only for the version where u bought it?
Those having trouble buying it because you already have a live account, go to the web page version of the shop, it will let you buy/gift from there.
Interesting. But we need Shadowlands instead of useless content. :)
That Headline is messed up. Poor Form Wowhead
Guys, if u wanna use the BFA Add pack as a boost u need to make a new account. Then u buy the expansion and use the boost with ur mane acc as its account wide usable..
Guys, as a player who bought 4 level 110 boosts until now, let me explain how you can benefit from the discounted boost.Step 1. Go to your Blizzard account page.Step 2. In the WoW section, select create a starter edition account. Note: this will add a new WoW account under your account selection. Supposing you only have your main account (WoW1), the newly created account will be WoW2.Step 3. Purchase BfA on the newly created WoW2 account (as it is a starter edition, it will allow you to purchase BfA).Step 4. Login into your main account and go to the character selection screen. Voila, your level 110 boost is there (it is shared between all your accounts).Step 5. Repeat if you wish to purchase more than one boost.Important note: By doing this you will add another account to your WoW list (WoW1, WoW2 and so on). It cannot be removed at all once you created it, meaning that at any time you want to buy game time or something on your main account, you will have to be careful to select the good one (WoW1 for the majority of players).I hope this comment helps.
No thanks.$20 to give me cloak rank 15 and rank 3 essences? Yep, I'd buy that, many times over.
