Yep. There’s pretty much no point to even taking a crafting profession in TWW unless you do nothing but play WoW.I gave up on all my professions in DF after The second week because it was obvious I could never even come close to competing with the no-lifers. Because of that, it’s actually cheaper to just pay them to make stuff for me opposed to trying to make my own stuff myself.Professions in WoW are dead if you’re not a degenerate.Just take herb and mining for while you level up.
Like many, I was excited when I heard professions were getting a revamp in DragonFlight. Then we found:1) you had to no-life in Trade to get orders2) people could abuse the system to get way ahead by changing professions (something, with 9 expansions of crafting recipes, including many no longer obtainable, I just could not do)3) Craft order system was separate from the Auction House, making it a pain for people to buy mats, and with no certainty as to which quality of mats to buy and STILL no guarantee a max quality craft4) Crafters had to explain the system to people EVERY time as it was too complicated - and needing an addon such as CraftSim to make any sense of the quality/profitBlizzard seem to be doubling down on this in WW. Colour me disappointed.
This is complete garbage. Artificially limit players then allow what is essentially an exploit for people to get around it if they want to take part in the exploit.
I think its a shame that Wowhead encourages such degenerate tactics by posting this on their site.
