I always thought there would be a 9.2... I just don't think they will have a 9.3
Not hearing anything here that makes me want to come back.A note on AOE, that I'm sure has been stated before: Capped aoe is not fun. It increases the time that dungeons take. Avoiding CC'd mobs is tedious and unrewarding. Tanking is a kite-fest anyway, especially with certain affixes. It's way more fun to pull a ludicrous amount of mobs and everyone in group struggle like mad to play as best as they can in order to win. And as gear progresses, to increase the limit of what is "ludicrous" for you and your team. The time factor is one of the largest. And is also reflected in things like loot rates and alt catch-up (like the lack of a skip for the Maw entry scenario). They are bogging the game down in a climate where people have thousands of other entertainment options. You're losing on the fun-per-minute-invested calculus Blizzard. Failing to fix this will lead to yet another dud expansion.
Interviews with Ion are really starting to depress me. And while I genuinely try to have a positive outlook on the state of the game (and the future of it, too), these blanket "we're looking at it" statements are so hollow. And then for him to say that they are happy with the state of X idea when X idea is a common concern/complaint among the community... I dunno. Where is the disconnect here? At the end of the day, a great majority of people want better class balance in terms of utility and performance as well as fewer borrowed power systems. And yet here we are on the verge of getting even more of them. I'm old and I've been playing this game for too long. I don't know where I stand with it anymore. I want more content but I don't want more zones with more stupid 'zone events' (can't get a group together for Wrath of the Jailer if my life depended on it) that become a chore. I want more story--and for the love of all that is holy, give us good writing--, but I also don't want to repeat it a dozen times as I level up my alts. (I'm the idiot who leveled my main via Kyrian... then my fury warrior... Kyrian... then my veng DH... Kyrian... then my prot paladin... Kyrian... then my ret paladin... Kyrian lmao). I want my character to be strong and powerful but I also want meaning behind the abilities that I use. I want them to be my character's; not something they temporarily 'learned' from a newfound cluster of sentient beings.
Would have liked a question on new seasonal affix, as we've got virtually no info on it at all.
How to fix some aspects of the gameRemove AOE capBring Drums Back to 25%Remove Conduit Energy Make Torghast meaningful like Islands/VisionsRemove Valor CapMake KSC 216, KSM 226 with valorGet rid of raid buffsAdd a Maw Skip
I want a Artifact bow, or legendary. But the artifact one sound cooler. And Mage Tower, come on now. Just give me it and all the old rewards and new one's to obtain. Just simple 1 and 0s and boom it's in the game. Stop being difficult Blizz.
Those gems are raid specific but most will work out of raid and tiers will come back.YAY! More points to reject me on m+ pugs.Blizz stop, we dont want that bulls***, we want separated gear that only works for its end-content.
Can't believe there's folks in the comics defending it wouldn't be a WoD-like situation if it was cut off at 9.2.Sure, 9.1 is big for an x.1 patch. It has a new (sub-)zone. The raid is bigger than Trial of Valor. But if this is the middle patch, then it needs to be compared to 8.2 and 7.2. 8.2 had 2 zones. It had had two raids and a mini-raid proceeding it. As did Legion's 7.2.If 9.1's patch is the second-to-last content patch, than there's a huge amount of content less in this expansion than in regular expansions. We'll have 3 raids, same as WoD had. Both Legion and BfA had 1 raid, 1 mini-raid and a story patch extra. BfA even had 2 zones to explore in its "mid-patch", while we just get a sub-zone here.Any way you look at it, only getting a 9.2 patch and not a 9.3 is a big step back from the amount of content of past patches.
