Blizzard acting like sylvanas is entirely to blame for everything the horde did and the rest of the horde being 100% innocent might be some of the dumbest writing I've seen from them. Most of the Alliance should be crying for blood like Tyrande but nope, instead she is treated as a dangerous lunatic for daring to want justice instead of treating the horde like delicate flowers like Anduin.e; the worst part is the people justifying it like some in this very thread. "oh why doesn't tyrande just let the genocide of her people go? Maybe she is the real villain!"
Its a clear setup for the nelves and worgen going rogue and moving to attack the horde, whom is forced to defend themselves from alliance aggressors. While St. Anduin stands on the sidelines and wrings his hands.
I don't expect it to happen, but I'd love a new NE town in Nordrassil's branches, looking like how Teldrassil was designed to look, instead of a stump. Tyrande's not entirely wrong, there's Sylvanas loyalists in the horde. Blizz did say they wanted tension in alliance leadership, after it being horde v horde for so long. Genn and Shandris are holding it together.
I’m ready to stand up for the true Warchief when that feral beast Tyrande comes for her.
Psst. Psst, Blizz, just add a line about SI-7 being on top of hunting Sylvy. That really is a pretty necessary thing for them to do.
Meaningless lore background with zero impact on gameplay, meanwhile my friends can't find a guild for Nyalotha on Alliance EU because it's so dead and not everyone can afford faction change or is willing to abandon their choice of character's race. P.S. If any 300 or better world rank mythic raiding guild on Alliance EU (English speaking) is looking for a hunter or dps warrior, let yourselves be known.
God it angers me how Tyrande wanting vengeance for an UNPROVOKED GENOCIDE is being framed as "corruption"
They won’t listen to negative story feedback, no matter how bad it is.Which wouldn’t be so bad if they were consistent writers, but they’re not. Characters don’t have personalities or motives, they just do whatever the writers need them to do to connect dots.Unfortunately, WoW’s story really is just the start and the destination, with the journey in between being garbage.
I seriously think this is a set up for a huge faction war, like no neutral zones, no safe haven (unless of course you turn war mode off). What I see happening is this: 1. The night elves and forsaken are both opposed to the peace treaty but rather than causing drama they just back away into the shadows. 2. Sylvanas leads a MASSIVE attack on Stormwind. She is pissed, I mean void and fury pissed, and takes it out on Stormwind and most of the area around the city. The horde try to help but their main force on the Eastern Kingdoms is in fact the forsaken who are in no hurry to help the living humans. The blood elves are close but because they relied on teleporting to the Undercity and it is trashed they are unable to really help. 3. Genn fuels the fire by keeping in close contact with Tyrande and when the night elves are summoned to help Stormwind he delays the refusal which makes Anduin wait for help that is not coming. The dwarves, gnomes, and new mecha-gnome forces along with the dark iron dwarves arrive but somewhat late as they were counting on the night elf ships to ferry them from the wetlands to stormwind. They do arrive, just conveniently late.4. The horde are put on the defensive as an enranged Anduin blast the council that is leading the Horde for not honoring their treaty. Tyrande convinces him that her delay was caused by horde forces blocking their path, which is only partially true as the horde that were in the path had full intentions of allowing safe passage, and Anduin goes on a rage fill rant about how the horde could never be trusted and they cost his father his life. He finally comes to grips with the fact that Thrall, Vol Jin, Sylvanas, and the other horde leadership abandoned his father. Though the horde point of view shows that the retreat was not meant to hurt the alliance but to save the horde, Anduin is just blind to any reason at this time, which Genn and Tyrande secretly are over joyed to see. 5. This happens during the pre-launch event that we were told to look forward to and though it does not really lead to any permenant changes in the landscape, we do get temporary battle fields in several key zones on Azeroth.6. All of this leads to the alliance war council, lead by Anduin who enlist Tyranda as his lead advisor along with Genn, going on the war path to hunt down and remove any remaining horde on the Eastern Kingdoms, leading to the forsaken being pushed far to the north to Silvermoon which is still protected from outsiders, but the only way to reach any further help is from the ports in Quel Thalas. 7. The horde in turn push the night elves out of Darkshore for the most part and aside from Moonglade the alliance have no major foothold left on Kalimdor. From here we get back to a real faction war with none of this cooperation we have seen. The horde and alliance are basically in an arms race to get revenge on sylvanas and take the poewr she wields for themselves. Sorry I know this is long winded but I started typing and just could not stop.
Oh boy, I can't wait until the alliance and horde are back at war the moment the next expac drops.
we are really out here acting like sylvanas attacked the teldrassil alone and burned it with her bare hands. and now that the faction that caused genocide are patting themselves on the back for being righteous good boys, blizzard is most likely going to villainize tyrande for being a victim because she is being mean and a party pooper to anduin and the treaty and to the rest of them ;n; like lmao i'm so sorry for despairing the death of my people and our homeland. is there even talk for reparations? if they are so sorry, are they going to like... retreat from ashenvale and darkshore or will they still claim the lands that they conquered under the banshee's name while spitting on her? because that's just @#$%^&y lol
I like it. I'm excited to see how we get beyond HvA squabbles, and focus on the big issues we face. By quelling the issues in Azeroth it allows for more expansive issues elsewhere. Look at Syfy. There will be politics, and attempts to sabotage, but this allows us to be more effective fighting higher level problems.
Thalyssra's a man-eater LMAO
I wish they would of shipped....Liadrin and Lor'themar. They have been a thing since the very beginnings of Silvermoon. Maybe Liadrin gave up or Lor'themar showed no intrest oh well. Ship Thalyssra and Lor'themar lol. I mean Baine and Mayla are being shipped.
This is the only important part from this entire expansionFirst Arcanist: Would it really take a conspiracy for you to spend time alone with me?Lor'themar: No, my lady. It would be my pleasure.First Arcanist: A suitably chivalrous answer, Regent Lord. There may be hope for you yet! Perhaps I can even teach you to relish the... simpler joys of life.Lor'themar: Perhaps you can, First Arcanist. Perhaps you can.The rest can be completely forgotten or removed from the game entirely for all I care.
