Adding them to callings is great. At some point the rep isnt attractive and a player has all their conduits and is less likely to find upgrades in the callings. I dig it.
So if a 210 drops at the end of dungeon chest for a +15 or higher can that item be upgraded using the currency or do you have to waste precious weekly valor upgrading all the way from rank 1? I'm confused.
Solutions:- do valor and justice points, work just like honor/conquest do in pvp- im fine with u having to drop the item im the M+ im first place.- dont cap valor at 1500, make ir unlimited just like conquest- unlock 226 ilvl by getting all 20s timedAll in one package: M+ as it own end game segment, sense of gear progression, alt friendly.This took me like 5 min to think, im sure blizz can do even better!
First give a reason for 20 man raids, then you can even give 233 ilvl items from dungeons as a trash loot.Current status of raiding is hectic already, low drop rates, hard mythic encounters, vault dropping same ilvl as raids each week, many ppl cant find reason for raids these days.Make the raiding great again.
There's no cap to upgrade honor pvp gear and there's significantly fewer pieces of pvp gear in the pool available to even upgrade... Yet, there's a significant cap on the ability to upgrade m+ gear AND you're limited to the ilvl you can upgrade it..They literally just took the wod valor system and threw it in place and called it a day without ACTUALLY working on a proper solution to the problem..This is what bothers me about the modern game the most and it just seems like they're not getting the point.
The problem is they don't want people to get gear faster. They want to restrict you as much as possible while extending your sub time. The moment I saw 220ilvl I knew they will have bad intentions.Less loot making it more important is biggest bull%^&* reason for less loot drops in raids. They basically want you to come weekly and raid to get 1 item or no items at all so you will keep subbing for longer and dont take a break after you cleared raid and geared yourself. Same with m+, there is almost no reason to play them other than weekly cap.There is a reason why we also get so few anima when things you upgrade cost thousands if not 10 thousands..All these systems make you sub for longer and play less weekly which is perfect scenario. Just cap your things and dont log for anything else.I hope Riot will not do the same mistake with their MMO. I wish they would just copy wow, set it in their universe and change &*!@ things blizzard is doing.
750 per week, 1500 cap and 250-1000 PER LEVEL to upgrade? This is so weak.If you are lucky enough to get a good item from a +15 it's 210 ilvl. To get it to 220 takes 3 upgadesso that would be 1 week for a cheap item or 4 weeks to upgrade an expensive item.you would need 3000 valor to upgrade an expensive piece (assume weapons) yet you can only store 1500? This is beyond stupid.The upgrade costs should be heavily reduced, and the cap needs to be raised or removed.Now imagine you get a really great piece at ilvl 200 to get to 220 is 6 upgrades or 1500 - 6000 valor. Say I get my bis wep I just can't upgrade it with this system, it would take 8 weeks.
system is still useless because of when you unlock item levels sadly
when they make many things to upgrades with different currency !they wont you to waist your time for only farming ! not enjoy the game R.I.P WOW

valor cap should be the same as the conquest cap is now .they really gunna add a time gated system in the middle of a season?i mean on top of having to re-farm mythic+drops..
Who will help this system?when i saw the capped 220 item level i tought it was a system to fill some slot when a new patch come before changing the pieces with mytic level gear from pvp or raid on mains and then it would shift in a system to bring alt at a decent item level in pve content (now the only way i gear alt is with pvp, we have currently 6k conquest and if you have an idea at what you are doing pushing atleast 1800 or even 1600 for a full set of 220-213 gear is far more efficent and end up in better gear then spamming +15 all day).I was expecting a way to upgrade pieces at 226 (all +18?) and weapon at 233 (maybe this one at +20) but if they want to limit it to 220 atlest give me the same system we have in pvp, where if you skip 1 week the next one you can cap 2 week worth of conquest. in that way i can progress my alt with pve content in the same way i do with the pvp. if this system come out as it is now, and i cap a fresh 60 character i'll have 750 valor to upgrade nothing and 6k conquest to buy a full set of gear, how this is balaced? just drop the idea that m+ need to drop item at the end of the dungeon, put 2 vendor 1 that sell item with justice point and 1 with valor point.at the end of the dungeon based on difficulty give the player a fixed amount of justice + valor ( only if you haven't already capped the valor weekly cap)so we don't have to do 4 consecutive run where the only drop we get is 35 anima. make the honor gear scale with rating (1800 for 210 item level) and make the same for the justice gear (+15 for 210 item level) and then make the valor gear the same of conquest (you buy the piece for valor from the vendor and upgrade it with justice) and cap it with +20 with weapon 233.in the end make the weekly valor cap scale in the same way the conquest one work. so if 3 months in a patch i decide to gear an alt i have 4-5k of valor to farm and i can gear the new pg playing the game and not waiting for the casino vault at the end of the week.this is my perfect system, you just run the content and work towards your goal, you don't have to be one on the 2 player that get something from the end of the dungeon because everyone receive the same currency. and you have a legit way to gear alt rolled months in a patch in pve content. i don't see why we can't have a system like this. if someone can point out why this system would be bad i'll appreciate it. in this moment i don't think of anything but maybe other player that run content in a different way can point me out why we can't have something like this.
