Why Blizzard is so conservative about Anima. Why they want to create that big barrier on Sanctum upgrades and covenant collectables. The most important things are done, like the covenant storyline, and now what we have until the next big patch is farm Anima for secondary content that probably more than half don't care?
It should be 500 anima for each soul above the limit.
And like I said earlier, 9.0.5 is going live next week March, 9.
Honestly I still struggle to find things I consider worth saving anima for. It feels very much like they ran out of time when creating rewards and in-game purchasable items for this expansion, the Sanctum features feel undercooked and unrewarding and a lot of the cosmetic transmog items just don't seem worth it (eg the Necrolord mail set). With the exception of a couple of mounts and the backpack items there isn't much else to work towards imo.
Once I get enough souls to eventually (potentially) level all my sanctum features to max on my main, I'm not going to be going out of my way to save any more of those suckers.
Going to the Maw is a frickin' chore
They nerfed it or something, because I only got 250 for completing it, and my souls have been capped out for a while now.
