When I go to the vale on the PTR it's the old sha-corrupted vale and not this new one so I'm not sure what to believe.
This looks pretty fun... I do wonder if it'll feel stale after a while like the invasions and assaults have?Either way, I love that serpent mount + am excited to go back to Pandaria!
Some of this new stuff is fun for awhile but once all the goodies are farmed it will already be repetative so it just gets boring from there!
So, Uldum has two types of assaults (tol'vir and aqir), and the Vale has three (mogu, aqir and mantid). Am I missing something?Anyway, it seems getting reputation with these factions will be very slow. 500 rep isn't good as a main way of grinding.EDIT: OK, after checking the PTR database, it seems each zone has three types of assault: a local threat (tol'vir / mogu), a swarm (aqir / mantid), and the Black Empire. I wonder how this play out on live.At the time of ths post, the Black Empire assaults give 1500 rep while the other two types give 500 rep (according to the database). Strange.
I'm curious about the rares. Specifically might any of them be previously untameable looks for hunters. I see Jade Watcher probably is, it's a quillen with a skin that's only been untameable so far. Currently, Ha-Li looks identical to a tameable rare from Talador, so that's not very promising. There's always a slim chance they'll add kun-chong as silithid, since they're just the mantid version of Colosi, which are tameable. Any others that are known or plausible?
Honestly, BFA just needs to be over ASAP and I hope that whatever team makes Shadowlands will have better writers and game(play) designers. Art and sound teams can stay, they are amazing - the rest need to reinvent their approach to creative design.
I like the idea of going back to old content and xpacks to do things in the current expansion. Just makes the rest of the world feel relevant.
