People need to remember: you can get 150 crest fragments each week. A timed M+ gives you 12. So to get all your Aspect and Wyrm Crests you need to do 26 M+ in one week. If you don't fail a single key, which week one is highly unlikely. Now, how many players outside of first week Mythic raiders would do 26 M+ of that high level the first week? This concern really is only for the elite, no normal player will reach that point.
I'm so over dumb WoOaAoAoAhHhH video thumbnails.
Just gonna say that I really liked this new system and it's final result, it's much more rewarding and it gives agency to the players. But I hate that all happened at once and so fast... I know that the technical implications cant make it happen any other way, but that's what I felt, and it has to do with change and how to avoid it resistance. I had to watch guides, spreadsheets and reddit posts to fully understand it.The system has its own complexity specially for casual players (like me), for example:1.- "Should I pick the 415 ilvl gear from the 5 heroic quest or the drake's crest?" This wont be a meaningful decision for high end o high ilvl players.2.- "Should I use whelpling's crests for 408ilvl crafts, upgrade the low lvl gear that the chain quests give or save them?" This one I knew about on a reddit post, ty so much for thatAnd so on...Anyway, thx so much to Dratnos for his youtube guide about this system, which helped me understand it (And his spreadsheet btw)Also, there's a post in Reddit, explaining how it's better to save whelpling's crests to get 408 gear by using the work order system if you're low on ilvl instead of wasting them in upgrading low lvl gear
if you need to make tons of guides and videos to explain a gearing system, then i think that this gear system failed hard time, and it's more complicated than we need
I just wish people would get over the shock surprised faces on every single video thumbnail.
