Now give me honor multipliers.
Good thing we find out 6 days before the patch that you need 1950 to get the full set instead of 1800. What a dumb change. Rip all of us 1800 gamers.
^&*! I better hurry and get 1800 rating this week then. I'm at 1700. No way I'm pushing to 1950.
This is a silly change imo, alot of people are not pvpers but do enjoy the pvp sets, getting 1.8 is a pain for many but still very rewarding, for cosmetic purposes i think changing this to 1950 is just stupid honestly. once again putting the focus on the wrong things.
150 more rating needed? I guess Blizzard needs to sell more tokens for boosts. The boosted players will pay for their lawsuit I guess.
Yes, because what PvP in its current state really needs is to intimidate newcomers and mid range players some more so they won't even try to compete.Blizzard is so out of touch, it's not even funny.
What I am concerned about is how there is no talk of revamping the honor level rewards. Not talking about the mounts - thats fine imo. What I mean is there is nothing in between these mount rewards other than very underwhelming toys. They could add soo much more exciting thing to work towards, like cosmetic cloaks and armor pieces. There is plenty of Alliance v Horde themed stuff they could add. I dunno why they haven't yet. PvP honor level seems to not even be an afterthought, it's outright ignored since its implementation back in Legion.
I don't think they're even seeing anyone who's not at the top of the ladder. Surely any change that will benefit top players will have a trickle down effect all the way to casuals at the bottom...right?As far as honor levels go, that's a persistence achievement that can be gotten just by doing enough content. I'm sure they would have loved to turn it into an award for the elite of the elite, but they really couldn't gut it in that way at this point.
Guess I'm not subbing. I'm never making it to 1950 as a Frost Death Knight.
Why aren't Blizzard telling us about this? We only know this thanks to Wowhead datamining it. This is not a good change. It will scare away new players and pvpers, and also raise the demand for arena boosters. This is not ideal to bring players back for 9.1.5, especially when "that expansion" is coming next month.
Recently resubbed pvp newb here. I thought the elite set looked dope, started looking up pvp guides and practicing. Guess I can abandon the whole thing now.
mmm yes transmog locked behind rating lmfao so dumb
I suspect this change will further push players away from PvP. It makes PvP, which is already exceptionally daunting, even more so. It's a shame too, as PvP can be incredible.
That's a dumb change, it will make pvp boosting even worse now. The vast majority of them stopped when they reached 1.8k
genuinely no one asked to increases the required rating for pvp tmog sets... 1800 was the perfect rating for it and doable for many classes. 1950 is gonna be alot harder. Making these rewards harder to get is just gonna scare off newer pvpers
Good change finally PVP cosmetics feel rewarding and are not given to almost everyone…
The only people that will benefit from this dumb change are the boosters. A huge problem just became bigger with this change. This is just...sad. Nothing else. If you ever had a doubt that whomever is in charge of PVP changes DOESNT DO PVP....then look no further. God damn it its so hard to like this game anymore.
Aaaaand all interest in doing rated PvP just went down the drain. Maybe I should look into boosters if there's a set I really want in the future...
