That’s a good question. They said that the current sockets venari sells will only be able to be applied to s1 items and a new currency is required for sockets on s2 items. I’d hope they don’t consider like that since it’s the same pieces of gear (technically) where as you replace s1 gear with s2 gear eventually.
its week one of PTR they will change the material requirements before live guaranteed , they want people testing the new ranks for balance changes
"No cost" it says in article, then further down "no additional cost". Then we can see it costs 5150 Soul Ash going from R4 to R5, and R5 to R6. Total of 10300 Soul Ash.
Words are hard?
If anyone is struggling to understand the cost of new legendaries, hopefully the table below explains clearly.Outright cost is the cost to make the legendary from scratch. Upgrade cost is the cost to upgrade from the previous rank.
Did I miss something? "even if you've completed Torghast every week, you are likely not even close to creating all your Legendaries for your spec" - I have only bothered making 1x legendary item per spec per char and maxing it out to rank 4 - whats the point in making them all when you can only wear 1x at a time?
Wowhead: No additional Soul Ashe will be require as the costs are the same as lvl 4. (No additional currency required)Me not trusting Blizzard: Yeah OR 5K is the cost for the new upgrades! And they just haven't put it in the PTR yet. They do love that grind. This comment made in partial sarcasm. No nerdy (ACTUALLY SIR!) reply required.
Curre
So if you have already legendary to lvl 4 it is useless to farm soul ash. Unless you want to craft another item (not interesting for me).I was thinking to farm soul ash until the new patch. But Thorgast runs for the ''special'' soul ash currency is useless for me (again, argh).
