As I keep saying, dont flock to a single covenant because its currently viewed as the end all, be all. There WILL be balancing of them all the way through SL. Pick one youd like to play.Dwarves was soon as hot because they could remove nathria bleeds, as well with the kyrian cookie. Nerfbatted. Infact, I believe it was the horde Exorsus guild whom had all moved to alliance to get an edge with Dwarf stoneform.Or Venthyr? In the beginning people was going all gaga about them due to the faulty perception of you being able to doing skips with it. Turned out you cant, just not enough range on it to make it possible.
This is what we got a month delay for. Not for monks to get fixed or the system to be reworked.Happy 9.0! Can't wait for 10.0!
Go be bad someplace else and stop telling people who care how to play.
And the #$%^show rolls on. #pulltheripcord and be done with this nonsense.
So, I have said it and I will say it again. There is no Night Fae love. Only a few classes and spec find it best, so I guess I will not get to play my main if I want to play Night Fae. I thought it was supposed to be even so you got to pick what you wanted to do. Seems to me they are herding us into 2 directions - Kyrian and Venthry. I hate that. I was so looking forward to this expac too.
You know blizzard can still tune this right? And what may be best for season 1 may be worst for season 2 etc.
Looks like Blizzard is okay that most of spacs will go Kyrian...
some update for the covenants to compile PVP ?
I highly, HIGHLY doubt that Kyrian is best for Survival Hunter. I want whatever the person that came to that solution took, because I too want to be in a bliss like that.Seriously though, Kyrian? Really?Instead of "guiding" people to the right spec, just tell them to have fun! Pick whatever covenant that you like the most, not what does the best. It is that simple.
When Covenant transmog stuff was first released I hard chose Kyrian as a Prot paladin. The set and cloaks you get looked the best and I didnt care if the ability was any good because I went with what looked the best. Im glad I made the right choice
I like vampires, I'll go venthyr,
It's 2020, i'm playing a game online with thousands of virtual friends and friends I have yet to meet. I like that I have the choice to min/max or not, chose what i want to play. I like that I can log in and play all day if I want and be giddy at the things this game offers. When it becomes a chore to thread the needle so fine it takes the fun away. Just go with it, play it, and enjoy. No need to batter people for what their thoughts are or choices are for such minimal things. In the world today, we all are trying to find fun inside. Theres plenty of games out there, if this one is really picking at you the wrong way.
As a multi spec player, i rly hate this covenant abilty thing :/
Separate from this article being a bad idea even if completely objective and accurate, can I next object to it likely not even being that well supported by thorough research and investigation?Did you ask your class writers how confident they were in their picks? Did you check that they had in fact played, in the the current build, with each build and observed for themselves the pros and cons? Did they review accurate sims? (answer: no, they don't exist.) Did they test across the full range of legendaries, trinkets, and other gear choices etc?I'd go further but your own disclaimer makes clear you understand at least partially how garbage this "information" is. My question is, knowing all that, and having typed out the whole disclaimer, why did you then go any further? Why not just report on the choices available with whatever truly objective and reliable information exists, and leave it at that?
Thanks for this actually - I am going to go with what's fun for me rather than stressing on pushing for BIS everything.
Declaring a 'best' covenant is actually not that helpful. People looking to guides like to weigh up their options.
I mean, I'm down with playing/choosing a covenant for fun but if they are making it a unnecessary pain just to swap Ima just pick whats best all around.
I wonder if the same people that want the cord pulled are the same ones that want talent trees back...Honestly one Covenant ability PER spec would seem to make everyone happy... enough.
