Because it bugs out and won't let you just log in. No matter how many times I type in my ps, il have to exit and relaunch.
Because hitting esc and then enter when the battle.net client is already opened up in the background saves me atleast 6 keystrokes assuming it has my email remembered or 20 keystrokes if it isn’t and relogging itself takes me the same amount of time either way. Now they saved me one more keystroke.
idk if ive been brainwashed to be happy about something so minimal but this is actually sick, nice job blizz
Reading these comments, you guys apparently don't know how security works. I am surprise blizzard proceed with this, makes no sense. I hope there is a 3-5m timeout timer only on the reconnect button.
Nice 👍
Hell, it's about time.
Whether or not you relaunch or just enter your password isn't the point. The fact remains that one of Wowhead's sloppy 'writers' has published something as though it were fact when it simply isn't. "You no longer need to close your client and reopen it from your Battle.net client" is an absolute statement. I have noticed a steady decline in Wowhead's journalistic credibility for quite some time now. But I suppose that's what happens when you invent jobs that really don't need to exist.
My client likewise never recognized me, and would always ask for my authenticator. Sometimes my phone is charging in the next room, sometimes it takes a minute for the authenticator request to actually go through for some reason. Stuff happens. "hurr durr just type ur password lol" is a dumb argument.
So they're expecting a lot of disconnections? :)
Reconnect button.Wow. Only took 17 years. Sure, better late than neverStill.... when my IP changes due to Orange being @#$%^&ed ISP who insist on changing your subscriber IP at random so I absolutely can't run a webserver off my "home connection"....
Honestly anyone who's "confused" about this feature should probably come up with a better password and/or setup their Battle.net Authenticator.
About bloody time.... How could it take them this long?
Considering how often you randomly lose connection from this game, this is sorely needed.
After 15+ years.
Took long enough
