Meh.
Lame
A kirian guard without head, does not fit the Jailer we know, something more togash-esque would fit better but we already have plenty of those. As soon as I saw it I put Mimiron's head over on paint, not the same texture quality but it fits :D
I'm getting strong Protoss vibes.
Complain complain complain that's all half of you miscreants do anymore. Complaining about a mount that you'll never even sniff.
It didn't look exciting in the static photo, but the video shows off how gorgeous this thing is!
You require additional pylons.
I, for one, love the Starcraft designs coming into the game.Gives a small glimmer of hope(ium) for that game.
Literally uglier than any mount I've ever seen.
Hm, of all the mounts sharing this model, I can see where they were trying to go, but it feels like they lost touch with whatever their concept or inspiration was.
It's a HUGE design problem that in a vacuum It looks like jewelry; like something you're supposed to wear, not ride. And even with the character model sitting inside the cockpit (that you can't even identify as a cockpit due to the lack of controls, obvious seating, canopy, or any other signifiers that you're meant to sit inside of this thing), it still looks off. Like it wasn't meant to be used for what the player model is using it for. I think this problem is in it's shape language, just the way it's silhouette is shaped and use of brass coloring combined with jewels, and angular metallic rings (esp around the main body). All of it says that it's a headdress, a necklace, ear cuffs, rings, or a choker. I literally thought this was the model for a unique neck piece that your character will get to wear, and when I saw the image with the human in it, all it did was make it look like a choker for a very fancy giant.I will say that the animations do a lot of work to make it more believable as something aerodynamic (mainly the mountspecial), even alien & life-like, but even then it still looks and feels off, the way it's "wings" are always pointed at a downward angle even in the air. At best it looks like the torso half to a larger robot. As if it should have a glass bubble canopy over the cockpit and arms that turn the wing/jets into pauldrons. If they can't make it look believable for it's intended purpose in static images though, something about it needs to go back to the drawing board. Ofc it won't though, because in their attempt to take inspiration from the protoss and other "alien" races, they went too abstract while trying to make it look cool and flashy.
"Perfect geometric understanding" the same nausea-inducing sway and bob of the Sky Golem.
