I saw someone with the umbral gorm yesterday, so I think Night Fae can actually aquire the mounts.
I prefer Garrison Mission Manager so far as it gives a numerical rating for success chance for adventures (although presently it's limited to a rating based on damage vs. health and doesn't take special abilities into consideration). It gives a WIN/LOSS estimate with the higher the number, the more likely it will win or lose. For example, it will display W 1.01 as being the slightest favorability and L1.01 as the slightest likelihood of failure and the more it increases in either direction, the more likely to Win or Lose. W 3.00 is a blowout win, L 3.00 is a blowout loss. The number changes as you move your champions on and off the board. So far it doesn't take into account where you place your champions relative to the enemies.I tried Venture Plan and all it does is reorganize everything (that didn't need reorganization) and gives you a button that you have to click on to see if it thinks you will win or lose but doesn't adjust from moving characters in and out. You have to close the window and reopen it to get a new win/lose button to click.I looked at the "Covenant Mission Success Estimates" addon and it gives you the information about how many turns it would take to defeat the enemies or be defeated, but doesn't give a rating, although you should be able to figure it out just by using the numbers as a ratio. Like if it would take you 10 rounds to defeat the enemy and it would take them 12, you can do the math. I like that Garrison Mission Manager does the math for you and tells you if it's a WIN or LOSS plainly.I just can't wait for someone to really put all the information into an addon because I think using an auto-battler that looks like Hearthstone with a time you have to wait before it actually plays out is a FAIL by blizzard.
Why not upload on Github ? Some clients likes WoWuP can update addons on Github.
I'm a-OK with not downloading from CurseForge, but perhaps hosting on GitHub instead of a personal site? WowUp does a great job providing updates from properly tagged GitHub releases and it makes things much easier to manage for those of us with enormous add on collections! In the meantime, this WeakAura from wago.io has been pretty helpful, providing a +/- success chance based on health and damage, no abilities taken into account: https://wago.io/FTT0P82zx
Oh god thats what those missions do! i was wondering why the hell I was getting lvl 48 missions when my highest champ was 31...
Why isnt this addon on github? I get not wanting to be on Curse but other platforms exist. I'm not going to install and update an addon from some obscure site. WowUp.io supports github, why not just move it there?
Some issues with this addon:The level of the missions is not being displayed. It would be nice to see this as to determine which followers to assign. And having to click the Cursed Adventurer's Guide to see wether the mission will succeed or not, uses a lot of waster time. Had it shown the estimated success rate at all times or suggest which troops are the most likely to succeed, it would have been on par with the addon used for Garrison missions.Currently this addon is missing too much...
Wanted to like this addon, but something about the UI just feels off. Can't explain it. I definitely do not like how it turns all the day/hours into minutes. This could just be me being picky, but personally I've been successful enough without an addon that I'm not worried about having one installed. Hopefully more addons come out to help people and feel a bit more intuitive.
Has anyone else noticed that these are the same models available elsewhere but just with different colors? Like Oribos is the same 2 floors. Like Horde & Alliance have the exact same story & quests. I see a lot of cost-cutting and less creativity.
At first I was put off that it wasn't on any major addon site, though neither is the actual ElvUI.. Seeing as the addon has a setup to collect mission table results that we will need to manually send back to him, I can understand the need to not keep it on the bigger sites.
All you people saying you NEED an addon manager, please answer this. Why does one need to have their addons fully up to date the second an update is available? How is using an addon a day or two behind / one update behind so bad? Barring major changes like the game will simply not work until updated (such occurrences are very rare once the expansion has been out / major changes blizzard side done).
With all due respect to the hard work the person did, it baffles me that he choose to change the design and layout of the interface. Not a fan of the grid approach, it's very messy and a pain to compare what you actually have. No thanks.
Are the Mounts Covenant specific? Didnt see it mentioned above 😅🙃
