Just about solidifies my debate between rdruid and hpriest at this point lol. PVE boys thinking blizzard cares about buffs/nerfs and arent just doing it "blindly" to get the reroll profits and dont actually care about the playerbase. Have a look at pvp balance once, they have dealt with it since legion launch so you know going up to 3 years now. Reroll and smile on unless you enjoy being benched and ridiculed by your guilds or you know actually have a chill place to call home. Feelsbadman
Blizzard just keeps *!@#ting on druids in this expansion...don't know what we did to deserve this...
Have a look at his comparison graph of MW and Druid in 8.0 vs those specs in 8.1. Realistically, the druid nerf (10% direct tranq and 40% hots of tranq offset by 10% increase wildgrowth and 1 second extra rejuv vs the loss of 1/4 of an autumn leave buff trait) is about 1 to 2% and the MW nerf is approximately 1%. It's just irresponsible reporting to put these graphs together. His lack of ability to fully understand the impact of the change in binding heal (not just to itself but rather on the reduction of holy word and thusly salvation) and the fact it misses out not only the recent disc nerfs but the much older shadowmend trait nerf from 3 to 2 seconds extra atonement undermines this video for me.I'm just embarrassed for method that someone would put out such a half-assed video under their banner.
Healing raid with resto was anyway bull%^&* to me. To much need count on dots and flourish reset. Heal m+ its good, but raid meh.
this company its so bad !
The information for the high tide going baseline was in PTR data at the start of the changes. The +1 was added baseline, and then new high tide was added on top.
it's a prediction post, don't read into it too much, get the facts then read into that.
Few things make people more stupid than a graph. They literally draw on the graph in MSPaint and say "yeah that looks about right," now people take that as if it's the result of careful mathematical analysis.Tranquility's healing is being reduced a bit. For the vast majority of players Tranquility significantly overheals, so now it's going to overheal less. Abandon ship.
As healer it all depends on witch fight and witch group you heal with etc.But overall i think he is right. And this list is nothing new. Priest and paladins have always had top 3 spots ( 2 out of 3 of them). monks and shamans have always been the 3th slot filler.Druids have had there big overal strong days. But they most of the time get nerfed freaking hard after that.
It's easy.Play the classes you like, master them and bring your playstyle to the table. In my opinion you may even shine with a so said "$%^&ty class".
Not putting a lot of stock in this, since it's purely a prediction post. While some math from the patch changes is used, the final predictions -- as well as the initial drawn-box boosts -- are purely feelycraft. Considering Chris Potter mains a RDruid for Method, this also feels a bit like posturing/pushing for his main to receive buffs/lessening nerfs. Of course, his points may yet prove valid -- I guess we'll see where the healers shake out once everything goes live.
"We want you to come back to the game with 8.1!""Also resto druids get a 20-25% nerf on tranq, have fun"
