all sets look very similar.. and btw, it seems like normal set is better for Fire Mage, Heroic for Frost.. I think tier sets should be 1 model and let the players decide the color.. even if they need to "unlock" the color of the set in order to use it somehow..
I absolutely love the barefoot armor hope we get even more the expansions
If only the mage talent trees were as good as the mage sets.
Nice set but the feets, lmao, what a failure.
The absolute lack of distinction between classes for all these previews is ridiculous. The sets are way too similar to each other. I can't stand this at all.
I am sorry but these are just awful. The textures are rendered really well and the 3D pieces are nice but the overall design just does not fit any kind of mage archetype. This looks like a ninja outfit, nothing about it says mage to me. I really wish they would go back to the old days where sets weren’t designed around what bosses and mobs in the raid look like but based on class fantasy. To this day the Arcanist, Netherwind, and Frostfire sets are some of the best mage sets we’ve ever had. Antorus was another good example of what sets should be, I am still using that Kirin Tor inspired mog on my mage.
If the hands had the fingers showing then I would like the boots matching. But cover both, or lets the fingers show as well so it looks symmetrical.
Only the gem belt is what looks okay, rest is carbaa
I mean I don't mind the set, but then I'm loving the more simplistic elemental theme, and peeps, ya'll need to chill on the "oh its boring" or "too plain" or "they all look the same"; The sets are primal elemental themed and its the first raid of the expac, for a first raid the sets are pretty cool and simple.Though I will agree that the boots are odd, and considering the gloves offer nothing but a plain form I'll probably just swap 'em out
This game has far too many exposed toes.
Another expansion, another tier of gear for each type that all look like plates of some kind & we all just have to accept "yep, those plates are made of cloth".
