Blizzard should do a battle pet each year that reflects the current year. 2014 is the year of the horse. We could finally get our PONY! Seriously though, it would give each year something new for lunar fest.
This idea is really cool. I think it would be a great way to keep the holidays relevant for long-time players and you could have new pets for quite a few years.
Another year with no new update.. *sadface*
If you have the time and patience to fly around Azeroth for hours, To Honor One's Elders will be yours within day 1.
You say there are 'not many changes' this year, but there is no section that I see specifically detailing what DID change this year.
Definetely this festival needs some updates to be attractive for long time player..
I wish there was something new, but I still enjoy this festival!
If you are on a PvP server: You will die.
so if i got this correct nothing changed? or has the lunar event information not yet updated too 2014 (mentions 2012 a few times, so might be possible).
Was totally hoping there would be a new pet this year. I've had both lanterns for awhile now :(
Does anyone now how much coins i need to get all items
Hurray, the first Holiday of the year and what a great start! Spamming rockets and clusters at the speed of light surrender now or prepare to fight :) I have made a Video Guide for those that need help let me know what you think and I hope it helps- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Il9c9D3R4fI&feature=youtu.be
Am I the only one that saw the three colors of fireworks, thought of Mass Effect 3, then was sad? :(
I'm surprise there are no Elders for Pandaria. It seems this holiday is something they could really get into, in order to integrate themselves better into the world, and see what they've been missing out on!
2012 was the last time the event had major changes--the two pets were added. 2014 had no visible changes in the data, but we didn't know if Blizzard would do something like a themed-boss encounter, like how Siegecrafter's abilities were wreathes for Winter Veil.
