I bunch of these that you posted here that weren't in the online gallery made it on display at the WoWhead Blizzcon party on Thursday night. I found mine too, which you can see here: http://zamimg.cuckhead.com/uploads/screenshots/normal/485049.jpg and here at the party: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CTHPTb7VAAAXEVd.jpg:large (I'm pointing at mine) The only downside to the displays were that they were outside at night and not under great lighting. I had to use my flashlight to see them, but otherwise it was awesome to see the work posted.
wow, these are just... beautifull
Woohyooo!
Incredible artwork! Here are my two favorites, but all of them are great: Irvast: "Xavius, the First Satyr"Kasimova: "Val'sharah"
Very nice artwork. I understand somehow why there are many half naked women in the top ratings, the majority is men overhere -(^_^)- For me a winning artwork is not that we have some fine women-outlines we can look at. For me is the use of colours, the setting, the expression. For many years I collect books with artwork. I love SF& F art and I still looking forwards to see new work. Not everything picks up my interrest, offcourse not, everybody got his or here own love.Cheer for all the winners, and there are no loosers. For me, they are all winners.
Amazing art, "bows" to all the participants!
Did anyone get pictures of the display at Blizzcon? Couldn't make it myself and would love to see it!
Well, once again I'm feeling my lack of artistic ability, but wow are some of these beautiful.
I loved seeing all the entries and all of them are winners in my book :) We all stuck with it, completed our pieces on time and no doubt also learned new things along the way! I don't envy the Wowhead staff having to decide on the winners, that must have been incredibly difficult.Looking at the grand / first prize winners, it's hard to not feel a little bit dishearthened seeing how much I still have to learn, but at the same time it's inspiring & motivating to keep practising and become the best I can be.I totally understand Wowhead's choice to include the 27HD Cintiq as a grand prize, because this attracted the pro's and they delivered some insanely high quality pieces. They likely wouldn't have bothered if it were only 13HD Cintiq's... I'm happy Wowhead made this choice. Pro or not, everyone worked hard and took time out of their schedules too, so they deserve to enter & win.I hope there will be more contests & galleries like this one for future Blizzcon's.
Well I'm glad I didn't waste my time by entering this contest, as soon as it was announced I knew Templierpainter was going to win. This is his what 4th maybe 5th cintiq he has won, he has won every blizzard themed art contest in the last 5 years or so. He sure is one amazing digital artist, wish I was even close to as successful. Congratz to all the winning entries, and to all participants you guys did great!
