The raids have no such buffs active. Its all the same except the goal post moved. Too little too late. When soloing older content was an option that just needed a bit of gear, we had plenty of casuals who did just that, and to get gear, they helped to round out guild runs. There was always someone around to rope into a key or alt run raid. I don't even remember what were the items I wanted for alts, and BFA&SL decimated alt play to nothing.Honestly, I'm more annoyed they don't even bother removing obvious soloing blockades like the Entomb mechanic in Kings Rest, which makes dungeon, otherwise attractive for old content runners, completely unsoloable. With years of waiting, most of players that enjoyed filling in the gaps in achievements/mogs by running solo, drifted away from the game. With them gone, just grabbing someone to round out a party for a key or some such got impossible, forcing the remainers to stick more closely together especially for m+, and this pushed out even more people who started having trouble getting their keys done, even further diminishing the guild ranks. And no, with how elitist and meta the pug scene is, pugging isn't an option for most people who otherwise do have enough skill to round out a 3-4 high m+ rankers to run a perfectly fine +15 for vault count. It's things like this... failing to note that some content types HAVE TO BE THERE, or a big portion of players will go away, is the dev problem. All they see are braggable KPI's like "number of key instances run", so when playerbase complains and begs for more agency and choice like rerolling a key once or having a choice of items rather than one random, they either hard deny or try to squeeze more KPI in exchange... which just decimates playerbase further.
Is this some Ion-sponsored gaslight post designed to get players to believe Blizzard has done anything to fix the abysmal scaling in legacy content that has been a mess ever since the Shadowlands pre-patch?Will we get a post going into whatever follows DF telling us how great soloing Legion content will be at 80 as they keep moving the goal posts?
