All of this talk of regeneratin even though its obviously not going live like that and I'm just sitting here wondering if the KT hume swim speed racial will stack with swim form speed on dr00dz
I think it's because if you compare it to similar effects this seems extremeThe undeads for exampleCannibalize (2min CD) (channeled) (canceled on dmg, and interrupable)When activated, regenerates 7% of total health and mana every 2 sec for 10 sec.that 3.5% health a sec with a maximum of 35%, granted the undead one also gives mana. But it takes 6 sec longer to get, gives 65% less health, it ticks half as often, and it has a 33% longer cooldown (2min vs 1.5min).While Gift of the naaru that people also seems to compare it too for some reason, is uninterruptible but dispellable.Gift of the naaru (3min CD) (buff) (dispellable)Heals the target for 20% of the caster's total health over 5 sec. That 4% every sec to a maximum of 20%, it takes one sec longer to get 80% less healing with a CD that is twice as long.So while it barely makes sence to compare a channeled spell with a instant cast hot, here is the thing even if you get interruptedduring you regeneration it only takes 1 sec to out heal Gift of the naaru.and you can attempt this twice as often thanks to the lower CD.Edited: and apparently on PTR shows that it currently can be used during combat and isn't interrupted by damage taken, like the undeads are.
Obviously that wont go live folks, relax.
I figured it'd be like Zul'jin's ability from HOTS and break on damage taken, so I logged into the PTR and tested it out. It's not. And it's usable in combat. It seems... a little too strong? Placeholder values most likely.
What is that regeneratin' racial? It sounds even more op than the blood elves one
People don't see that is only PTR atm. So !@#$ posting overall and don't think about other "OP" racials. Just sayin.
Holy !@#$, let's compare Regeneratin' with Gift of the Naaru shall we... Gift is 20% total, while Regeneratin' is 25% per second... I hope this is a tooltip error.
There's also PvP in this game, not only PvE, to anyone saying "I guarantee Regeneratin' is an out of combat ability only" . We're going to see every single class who can be Zandalari roll Zandalari for any form of competitive pvp...
Kul'tiran's racials: pretty genericZandalari's racials: fkn gods
I think all racials need to be buffed. Make every racial in the game "op". There is too much homogenizing in this game. I am glad to see these two racials are powerful.
For you that lack reading comprehension "Regeneratin'" Channeled (4 sec cast)
Horde players aren't alarmed at the KT 3s stun and knockback? That's way too long and busted for pvp(arena)If KT can be monks or rogues, the stunlock will be too extreme. That's 1s away from being a whole cheap shot. This gives a huge advantage to all KT classes in pvp being able to lock down horde classes, what good is a 100% heal, if you can be locked down 8 whole seconds by a paladin or warrior. They just made them into rogues.I really hope they lowered it to a 1s or 2s stun like Taurens have, with the added perk they get a knockback that if used well can still flip the arena match by knocking people off high ground
tbh the regeneration racial is probably poor worded and its 25% after 4sec, 6.25%/sec and not 25%/secif its not then its strong on non healing classes but will then be nerfed to be out of combat only or somethingbut lets see when its live and then complain
Regeneratin' will obviously be nerfed. On the other hand, I'm getting ready to quit when I see swarms of Kul Tirans punching people off Eye of the Storm and Arathi Basin ledges, arena bridges, etc - and even if there's no edge handy, it's an any-class stun, so no need to spec Mighty Bash unless you want to double up, freeing up a talent. I'm sure all you poor Alliance victim-baiters will find that balanced, though - just like Shadowmeld. Good luck running a flag (or stoppinjg someone from running one) with a Kultiran druid aroundAlso lets just forget that Dark Iron racials >>>>>>>>>>> Mag'har right? Void Elf racials not OP enough either
