Cutting all the crap beside...Those names for a ship.. Kinda.. Meeeehh? Why can't we have anything cool? A choice to honor Lordearon for example, or Stromgard.
Other than Dawnsailor, they all represent Stormwind, and Anduin pretty well, and it Is his flagship.
still waiting for people to explain why is ok for the Zandalari Empire/Talanji Exp/Zandalar race, who are just trolls, to get totally different and new mounts while ally has to accept 4 look alike horses and I'm not even talking about the deluxe mounts that horde gets an other different mount and ally yet another horsethats what lazy design is, its undeniable that the alliance is a afterthought during this whole xpac, even the work on the Zandalar and Kultirians shows this, almost no customization for one while plenty for the other
Tyrande its there? how? i mean she suppose to be mad with Anduin because he coultd help the Night Elfs in a proper way
Wait hold on... what is Mekatorque doing on the ship there?
Taliesin and Evitel will be very pleased about Rosalind.
ooh I like the Lionheart
Why is Gelbin at the end of the quest chain? Isn't he critically injured and frozen in a block of ice?
I feel like my biggest beef with the horses isn't that we have too many, its that the rig is just.. so old and ugly. The models themselves are gorgeous but they're tainted by this ancient, disproportionate, wonky skeleton. It's especially prominent when they graze (donkeys have the grazing animation as their mountspecial). As for the "hurrdurr horde bias" stuff. Eh. I sympathize, I really do. As a Horde player I got a taste of that disappointment during WoD. I think you guys should've gotten the bee for the Stormsong rep (which would have made me mad jealous, I want a bee VERY MUCH) At least you can get reskins of both the hyena and the blood tick mounts as BoE zone drops, so its not like anyone is completely unable to get them, although I know the grind is absolutely abhorrent. And the raid meta is the pterrordax. Arathi rares drop two different raptors and a bat. Dungeons have some cool mount drops. They're just mounts. There will always be a bajillion more.
BORING storyline. Just like every alliance storyline in BFA.
ohhh I wanted one of the big ships!
While I am not against Kul Tirans having a horse racial mount... I just want to take a moment to mention something interesting. The Horde Collector's Edition Mount: RavasaurZandalari Empire Mount: Pterrordactyl (flying, too!)Talanji's Expedition Mount: BloodswarmerVoldunai Mount: HyenaZandalari Racial Mount: DirehornTake a moment and note that literally every single one of these mounts are unique from each other. Let's compare this with the Alliance versions:The Alliance Collector's Edition Mount: HorseProudmoore Admiralty Mount: HorseOrder of Embers Mount: HorseStorm's Wake Mount: HorseKul Tiran Racial Mount: HorseBy contrast with the Horde, every single one of these mounts is the same animal with slightly varying armor. Now, if it were me, I would have avoided this to begin with. I would have left the horse on the Admiralty (and possibly the Kul Tiran and Collector's Edition, even), but I would have made the Order of Embers have a Wicker-Stag or something similar, and the Storm's Wake have the infamous Bee Mount given their meadary there. But, it's too late to fix it now. What gets me is that all three of these factions also had a grand gryphon available alongside these horses, but for some unfathomable reason was removed. I assume that Blizzard thought it was unfair to the Horde to give the Alliance two mounts per reputation faction... which would be ironic.I mean, think about it. What if the Zandalari Empire mount was a direhorn? The collector's edition for Horde? Talanji's Expedition? It would have suited the Zandalari just fine, especially in the case of Talanji's expedition. However, Blizzard felt like adding more creative mounts, including those of their enemies, which the Alliance could have easily done, as well. I can't really just pretend like Blizzard was doing this because "Horses fit best", it's more that they just didn't feel like being more creative and adding new mounts for them.On the plus side, the horses are gorgeous and I do like them (except for the Kul Tiran racial mount, ironically, which I feel looks a bit silly), but none the less, this is ridiculous and I hope Blizzard tries to make up for this in future patch content. The bee mount at the very least might help balance the scales... if only slightly.Either way, this is an issue with Battle for Azeroth, and not with Kul Tirans. Giving them a horse mount fits perfectly, especially at this point. I don't hold this against the Horde nor do I think Blizzard shouldn't have given them such interesting mounts (let alone out of petty spite--taking from them wouldn't benefit me in any way), rather I just think Blizzard could have put more effort and thought into the Alliance mounts. (Or, you know, kept the extra gryphons that are just reskins of an old mount alongside the horses...) I can't fathom how they didn't see that this would cause issues with the Alliance community. I can only assume they simply didn't care.I just wanted to add my two copper on this topic, since it has already been brought up repeatedly and I certainly have an opinion on it as well!
