They're trying reaaaallly hard to get me to like this race; I don't wanna be a larger version of a human, but these forms are so aesthetically pleasing ;0;
Man oh man. I'm going Zandalari for sure, but I LOVE the Kul Tiran forms!
That has to be the most terrifying thing I have ever seen. Well, except for that damn bloodseeker...
I really love the whole pagan aesthetic they're going with for Kul Tiran druids. Ancient Celtic druids were all about ritual sacrifice. I think druidic death magic is completely appropriate - death, rot and decay aren't inherently evil, they're an important part of nature. If you want spring, you need winter.
Didn't like this one as much as the Guardian and Feral forms, but still very cool.Still waiting for the Moonkin though, as that'll probably be the definitive condition for my decision on rolling a K'T Druid or not.
Looks like it wants to kill me and eat out my soul. Just saying. XD
Are you sure these are Kul Tiran? Not some hidden Forsaken Druid coming soon?
Multiple travel form colours? Can we get more travel form colours for the other races too?
I really am loving the look of these travel forms, they kind of remind me of wendigos in native mythology... maybe the moonkin form will look even more wendigo-esque :o
It looks fantastic!
I can't wait to be a thicc human druid. Those forms are amazing. My preference leans much more this way than the dinosaur themed zandalari druid forms.
Yup, pretty sure my nelf druid is getting a race change in BfA
Wickerbeasts and golems are made out of plant life, bones, and earth, so yes, there is a reason why it seems somewhat skeletal. Yes, based on these appearances one can assume the Kul'Tiran druids have re purposed the Drust death magic.They are NOT using the powers of darkness or death however. Animals were sacrificed by the Drust to create their wicker, and turned into new forms unrecognizable as the animals they once were. However, Kul'tiran cat, bear, and stag forms are very clearly those animals. Death, decay, and other maladies of nature aren't the product of druidism, they are the products of dark magic users like death knights, warlocks, and followers/corrupted minions of the old gods. Which is why druid players don't have plagues or other types of spells. What we're seeing here is the Kul'tiran druids taking on the forms, becoming the avatars of the long-felled animals who were sacrificed, using their power in balance with nature to help preserve the forests of Drustvar from the Drust and their witch minions.The Kul'tiran druids are, like all druids, defenders of Life, evident by their quests and dialogue and by the way they chose to embrace the natural forms of the animals once killed by the drust, instead of keeping them in their twisted horrific golem forms. At first, I didn't like the Kul'tiran druid forms, but now that I think about it, they're very heroic.
Oh great, ANOTHER stag. Why couldn't they come up with something original? Horde got moose and freakin raptors, and Alliance got stags, stags and oh yes, stags! I mean, yeah it looks kinda nice, but I still think, the Kul Tiras forms all look pretty uninspired (they all share the same/very similar skull and those twig legs), while Zandalari get 5 different dinosaurs! *sigh*
I'm just a little disappointed. The Mari Lwyd would have suited this so well -- you probably don't know the name, but it's a Welsh traditional creature around Christmastime, consisting of a mare's skull decorated with ribbons on top of a pole draped with a sheet. There's usually a way for the Mari Lwyd, the Grey Mare, to snap her jaws at the people around her.Here's a cheerful daytime image, but I think you can see where I'm coming from.http://www.americas-most-haunted.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/oss2-960x675.jpg
