Increased Number of Server Issues Causing Raid/Party Disbanding Mid-Combat

Over the last week, there have been a large increase in the number of server issues. Players on popular servers such as Area 52 for NA and Tarren Mill for EU have experienced server issues during Prime Time hours.
Edit #1 (7:18 PM PT): It looks like servers are being shut down around 7:30 PM.
The most recent outage seems to have occurred recently on NA servers and seemed to affect more servers than the previous issues. These issues have been very frustrating to players as it occurs seemingly at random times, and causes all players to instantly drop their raid or party! Some players have reported losing loot during this time, or even getting forcibly removed on a boss fight or depleting Mythic+ key. So be careful doing any content during this time, you might end up with a depleted key because the server decided to kick everyone out of parties.
This seems to be affecting more popular servers such as Area 52 on NA and Tarren Mill for EU, but seems to have affected more servers in the recent NA wave. According to
this reddit thread
, it seems to have affected Area 52, Bleeding Hollow, Stormrage and many more. This seems to have started last week and many guilds have cancelled or rescheduled their raids because of it, and many players have reported losing their keystone because of it.

Sad such an extraordinary expansion has to feel like it's PTR.

It's partly because once they announce a release they have, in some countries, a limited time to release it. Perhaps they need to incentivise more players onto the Beta, employ a volume test team/company, and delay the announcements more. That or scale back the scope of a given release.
Hold up, let me stop you right there. Every. Single. Expansion. Hell, Every. Single. Patch. they get assloads of feedback. Sometimes months and months worth of feedback. Mountains of reports. THEY are the ones who ignore it. It's not on the beta testers and never has been. They'll let even the simplest things go live that go reported hundreds of times beforehand. One time they solicited feedback on a couple major balance changes in Overwatch, actually putting out a video inviting people to test and submit reports.
And the reports were immediate and uniform: The changes not only didn't have the intended effect, but actually made balance worse, overtuning one character to dominate even worse, and undertuned another that was already suffering. They were warned, and warned, and warned, and warned. Literally hundreds of forum posts about it, many with hard data and calculations behind them.
Their response? Completely and totally ignored everything and pushed the change live. Where the testers were IMMEDIATELY vindicated and exactly what they said would happen did. People were angry and demanded to know why Blizzard would literally ask for their feedback on a change then ignore it all. Their response? Putting out a patronizing video titled "What the PTR is for" where testers were told that the testing is for client-server compatibility and nothing more. So the feedback they solicited was never going to be listened to.
Meanwhile the game balance went to @#$% and eventually the Overwatch team had to mea culpa and admit the testers were right and reverted the change.
-Signed, someone who stopped giving bug reports
