I mean...technically...the Horde didn't burn Teldrassil, Sylvanas did. In fact, I remember trying to help evacuate the tree! Then, the Horde helped defeat Sylvanas AND helped defend Amirdrassil. So why SHOULDN'T we be allowed there? Night Elves need a lesson on sharing.
This is great! I really hope the alliance and horde will dissolve in the near future, the faction restraints bring nothing to the current lore or gameplay.
This gives me hope that one day we might be able to visit any city in the game, regardless of our faction--if factions still exist as such by that point anyway.
As long as it doesn't actually confer any mechanical debuffs beyond "we're watching you", I couldn't care less.
I'll make sure to give to the sentinels a good show then.
The Horde being allowed in the city makes sense as this is the only racial capital the "exists" post armastice (when I say exists I mean it isn't locked in a time state pre-armastice. The other racial capitals are technically locked to thier Cata states, and Storm and Org being in thier BfA states with minor changes), but it also makes since that they would be watched since they, you know, torched the last world tree. I think it makes sense that there are certain areas that if they go there, they are seen as pushing it and are attacked. When Crendor was going through it, he got attacked when he went by the portals. That also makes sense as the Horde has cononically exploited city portals in the past, and they would be one of those "You're pushing it a bit" places. All and all, as a night elf player, this fine.
There is a certain chance this will also happen to Lordaeron. Undercity being highly unusable after Sylvanas' blight detonation, the undead seem to be moving towards the ruins to repopulate it, even in it's desolation. Specially considering Calia Menethil's alignment to non-violence, this could mean the Capital City might soon open it's gates to Alliance players in a neutral fashion.
LOL Makes sense. Should have been this way with Dalaran too, honestly. Horde f***ers murdered an entire town full of Dalaran citizens and raised them as undead. Letting them set foot on Dalaran after that was Dumbghar's stupid insulting choice.Don't want to be hated by the inhabitants of a city? STOP MURDERING THEIR CITIZENS. Pretty easy.
imagine being a NE and you lost all your family and friends because they were burned alive! (one of the worst deaths) by horde hands and then you know they literally pour their soul to give you a new home and restart so same horde soldiers could walk on your new homeland and safe space and it hasn't been more than 5 years. this thing ain't a World of Warcraft. At least make it neutral for horde druid players.
Impressive. So, what about Undercity? Or goblins islands like Gilneas?
Horde players in NELF capital should be killed on sight. Blizz and its %^&*! writing strikes again...
