New race in one of the future expansions; Bloodborn Elf. They're blue blood elves with shadowy magic...Oh wait.Joke aside, it's nice to see there's at least some interesting romance that had buildup and payoff. Even better is that this all happens ingame; we know Lor'themar wanted to chase that aged blueberry for that fine wine ever since they met, and any time they were together, it was hard not to think "JUST MARRY ALREADY" (obviously substituting marry for a certain action, of course). It's a shame we didn't get an ingame cinematic (yet?), and it's even more a shame that this might only be expanded upon in some cashgrab book, but at least we got a natural romance that was built up over time in the game rather than it being a "by the way" sort of reveal.
*You better give me that wedding Blizzard, I swear to God*
A slight fast forward of a few years is fine. When most people talked about a time skip it seemed they wanted a centuries-long time skip to set up some sort of "WoW 2" or some other silliness. Glad to see that didn't happen. I had been wondering why there has been little mention of the scourge we had seen running rampant over Azeroth. I guess that will be settled in a book or some other piece of media that will cover what happened in the interim.
While we were out here sweating hard to save reality, my man was out there working his game. If sylvannas was playing 5D chess, my man was playing 5000D chess :)
YEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS, this fits my head canon
We don't get to see the wedding? WTF Blizz? UNSUBSCRIBED!/s obvoiuslyBut seriously, I'm happy for them but we *need* to see something of that wedding at some point.Oh... and the timeskip is neat, I guess.
nawww cute couple lines =) but i must admit this time skip dooolally they have pulled saddens me.
Oh come on, Lor'Themar Theron gettin married and we just heard about it years after the fact? :D
I'm happy about the timeskip like finally after like 30 years in game story time they finally got time where the world not about to explode
I really hope there will be some bronze dragon who will allow us to see that wedding! Also, since highborne are smaller than nightborne.... do you think Lor´Themar got a box to stand on? XD
If I do not get to see this wedding I will THROW UP AND DIE
My favorite narrative device is a time skip that doesn't matter and has a bunch of things happen off screen that we should have seen and you wouldn't even know happened unless you see optional dialogue you have to go out of your way to see.great job blizzard.
Thanks I hate it
I hope they have a plan for all the baggage a time skip entails. Obiviously not everything in-game can be changed just like that to fit the current narrative, but at the very least I hope it's addressed in more ways than dialogue from Genn and Lor'themar.
