This is rather cool I think, hopefully more new players will come and people can answer all of those questions that they might have.
What do i get out of it
"I love seeing all those murloc heads!" is a sentence I never thought I'd say.
I'm going to become a guide so I can see if my mythic plus group has lots of newcomers and leave
Blizz should divide english - portuguese - spanish people from that chat. Some new people who speaks spanish or portuguese will face responses like "speak english" or they will not understand (some people play the game and dont understand english)
I'm enjoying being a guide so far. My one wish for this is they would make the murloc head into something else when they advance off the island or something! Would be cool to see them in progression.
Needing to have KSM, Rival and ZERO infractions on your account is SUCH A LOAD OF CRAP. there are people out there who have been suspended such as Asmongold for people literally reporting him just because he's a streamer. you know a lot of people don't do arenas right Blizzard? surely you knew that.
This is such a great system! Looking forward to being a Guide and helping folks out, much as others have helped me throughout the years. :>
hopefully it's actually useful for newbies instead of the (mostly) toxic cesspool in FFXIV
"Be level 50"Trouble logging in, so can't verify right now. Is this per-character? Or can I opt to be a guide while playing a low-level alt?
Can't wait to be able to login and become a guide! :)
Little sad that you need to accept guide status PER CHARACTER, rather than flagging an account.

Is it possible for my friends - if they coming back to wow After years - to join the „Newcomer-Chat“ too?I mean: Many things have changed since they leaved the game
