Just in time, considering players found a way to transfer gold cap by abusing a glitch in the free transfer system
I've heard 50+ horde guilds have already transferred from Firemaw to Gehennas, but better late than never. Shame because Firemaw is/was the only good world PvP server on EU.
People just don't want to have their souls rot on empty servers. So everyone congreates on the biggest ones. Blizzard ought to acknowledge that and just merge to one mega-server per language (RP aside, of course). On both Retail and Classic
Release the pre patch now !
2 weeks and no news about the beta ?
People liked Firemaw when it was balanced, before the Alliance side of Gehennas imploded and began mass-transferring to Firemaw. This is what led to complete gridlock, hours-long queues and-now- the disintegration of the Horde. It only takes one or two large guilds to disband or transfer and the floodgates open. Now you have two realms completely one-sided in faction domination, thanks to Blizzards lazy kack-handed response to the issues of server population and overcrowding; even when the queues were reaching several hours long, they only shut transfers weeks after the horse had bolted from the stable, apparently more interested in raking in transfer money than the last remaining healthy server staying so.What a damn shame it ended up like this.
