Thank you for the guide on the normal uniques, with respect to farming the Mythic Uniques, I don't know about the rest of you people, but here is what I have found while still playing Eternal Realm in this new season.Obol purchases used to drop about 1 legendary out of 2-3 purchases. I may have received 5-10 blues, the rest all rares. In emptying out 2500 Obols on a 40 obol cost gear piece (say the Cap), that is 62 pieces, over 20 upwards of 30 pieces came up as legendary, and a good quarter of those were with greater affixes. Now, Season 5 has with the same spending, of 2500 obols, 62 pieces of gear, I seen 3 legendary pieces, none with a greater affix. I did more Pit runs and spent another 2500 obols to get 5 legendary pieces. The rest were mostly white and blue pieces, and perhaps 15-20 rares. Not worth the time it takes to actually go out and farm obols in my opinion. If you have them built up, go ahead, but the odds seem to be extremely lowered now compared to last season. I get it too, last Season, "Loot Reborn" more loot received obviously. I receive the greater portion of my obols in doing the Pit at Tier 76, which I think is close to 200 per run as well as the 35 Neathiron.Helltide chests are still dropping the usual 3 legendary pieces, chaos chests more, but the greater affixes seemed to have dwindled away... uniques also have become very scarce. How I do a Helltide, go right to the Hellmaiden, spawn/kill over and over until I've collected about 1200-1500 cinders, spend them all on every chest in the multiple Helltide zones, only takes about 15 minutes to travel everywhere empty every chest, so 30 plus minutes of doing her, earns more than enough cinders.Hellmaiden drops still seem to be consistent, a mix of legendary and rares, prisms, gold, crafting mats, but definitely less greater affixes on the legendary pieces. I kept over 460 baneful hearts from Season 4 just to do Hellmaidens which are very easy to farm, I noted though that now there are hardly any uniques dropping when I would get 1 every second or third kill on doing a Hellmaiden last season.Infernal Hordes, the newest method of getting legendary items. well, this is still up in the air as there are some bugs in opening chests, the greater chest for me has not been dropping a single (or more) piece with a GA on it. Apparently this is a known issue and hopefully it will be fixed soon. The smaller chest, Tier 3, drops only 2 pieces, perhaps 1 in 10-15 chests may give a unique. Nothing worth getting excited about. Tier 4, 2 mostly drop from the smaller chest, sometimes 3 legendary pieces, still very rare to see a unique. For the effort to do the entire run taking time into consideration and playing solo, it is not a great method to farm for Mythic uniques, but it is actually a lot of fun killing all the trash mobs, elites and Hellborne, I really liked the "Stalking Demon" when I get that choice, fun to blast the Butcher to pieces! lol)Whisper tree caches, this hurts, when opening a normal box last season, I could get 3 or more legendary items of whatever the cache was for, some rares and summoning items, gold and mats. Now, one legendary only drops and 2-3 rares, sometime the infernal compass, or summoning mats. Sad state of affairs I'd say. I have not seen the Chaos cache yet nor any greater cache rewards either. The Uber bosses, Duriel and Andariel I am talking about here, I did 18 runs on Duriel in normal mode, not tormented, and received Andariel's Visage on that final run, 15 runs on Andariel, no joy. But still this seems a better option as the one thing Blizzard has not done is given us the percentage of the drop rate. They only said that these methods including Treasure Goblins, the minor special bosses, (Lord Zir, Vashan, The Beast and Grigore) world bosses and end bosses in Nighmare Dungeons could drop Mythic Unique items now. World Boss Grande Cache, that is another kick in you know where, it too has a significantly reduced legendary piece drop rate.I don't know about the rest of you, but my bet is on still gathering summoning mats and going after Duriel and Andariel as they seem to have a slightly higher percent drop rate. It really would be nice to know what the actual percent drop rate is on getting a Mythic from all the previous and now new sources, because then we would be able to decide how to best spend our time searching for them. Blizzard may have opened up far more sources to acquire a Mythic unique from but they reduced the legendary piece drop rate across the board accordingly in doing so.
