Finally Shoot gets that recognition :O
Should start soloing normal for my artifact appearance I guess
It would be neat if they let hunters tame any beast boss that they could solo in current content like they did with Fenryr. I don't even have a max level hunter, but it'd be a cool reward for those that could manage it.
oh shoot
It would be interesting to see mage, (shadow) priest, rogue, and shaman solos.
Awesome! Great work, great advice!Hopefully the comment section doesn't devolve into a salty landscape desolate of life like on the Mionee posts.
Great job, hurry before soloing isn't doable once 8.0 hits!.
Was this on Normal raid difficulty?
realy impressive ,when I clicked on the news, i was thiking ( another DK or Demon hunter solo video ) but to find a fellow hunter ^^realy impressed :)
When people say the game's getting harder, I'll just show them this video. In all seriousness though, the power spikes for gear in Legion is massive. The power spikes are the reason why there is another stat squish in BFA. I remember in wrath, at the start, you had about 16k health, ending with 24k health. An increase of 33%. In Legion, you start at 2 million, and end at 8 -10 million as a dps. An increase of 400% - 500% power. Imagine if we had the same scaling in Wrath - starting at 16k health, and ending at 78k health. It would be ridiculous. Soloing a raid should not be possible whatsoever. A BiS Hunter in Wrath, wouldn't last more than 6 seconds in a boss fight against a Naxx 80 boss - never mind the prospect of actually killing it.They need to really tone down the power spikes.
I wish I could upvote this.Because of this out of control scaling, gear is mostly meaningless now except for maybe the best 2% of gear in the game. Ignoring the top 2-4% of raiders, when ~75% of your characters performance is determined by gear, which anyone can acquire given time, gear becomes mostly meaningless. A side of effect of this out of control scaling is the community in general has developed an unhealthy obsession with ilvl because that's what determines the majority of your performance. It doesn't really matter how exceptional of a player I am from a knowledge and skill perspective, any semi-competent player who has mindlessly grinded another 20+ ilvls on top of me will outperform in all but the most mechanically intensive fights.I miss when gear at all levels of the end-game served the triple purpose of not only boosting your characters stats but also looking unique and as an indication of knowledge and skill, not just time spent mindlessly grinding or luck. Whatever gear you had was a badge of honor, you earned it for the most part! It wasn't just handed to you because payed a subscription and queued for something over and over again. For those that are aware of how Blizzard is attempting to psychologically manipulate you by making every new piece of gear be a sizable increase in power, it's really hard to not roll your eyes when an "upgrade" drops. I want to be excited for BfA, the Horde/Alliance conflict theme is appealing, so is the return of the Old Gods and the removal of Artifacts. But when I'm almost certain the gear rewards and sense of progression are going to be meaningless again because of the scaling it's hard to commit the time and effort. To be clear I do in fact think that the top mythic dungeon/raids are mechanically more difficult than ever before. It's just outside of them the rest of the game is so mindlessly easy now compared to WoW's first decade it's laughable.
^.^ Nice. And I would love to see more Warlock solos next to Hunter stuff.I use to solo some things as a Mistweaver. That was interesting.
Hunters ftw.
