You know what annoys me off about the ember court? yey, 300 percent buff to rep for your guests. but somehow there will be another 20 guests you have no idea were invited.
...you're upset that a giant party has more than 4 people there? Seriously?
a while ago during the easter buff there was a 300 percent buff and for the two people i had showing up i now have them as a best friend. which means exactly squat cos they wont give you anything.
So don't do it?

This hurts my brain...You seem to be struggling with this, a ton. Like anything in game, if you're confused and frustrated there are always guides out there. Wowhead has a couple great guides, and there are many very helpful comments on specific achievement pages around the court. The guides also cover the most basic to the most advanced aspects of this minigame, and it seems that you have not grasped the basic mechanics of it yet.
I would suggest reading up on it to figure out what's not clicking for you because it's really simple. Invite 4 guests that share as many properties as possible (using your free swaps and blank invitations as needed), in the scenario talk to the highlighted people, do the events that pop up, make the atmosphere bars match what your guests want, keep an eye on your guests and extend the court if needed with the reserves item thing. It has to be upgraded over time with a combination of getting it to rank 5 in the sanctum and then doing the event to get rep too. It really starts to become easy when you hit revered rep.

Read at least one poster saying they wouldn't do Ember Court again until it gets buffed. Why would Ember Court need to be buffed? This is by far one of the EASIEST Covenant things to do - especially compared to the Kyrian Path of Ascension. Sure, you can only do it once per week, so obviously it's going to take a while to get all the rep maxed, but it's not hard & isn't something that takes you hours to do unless you use a lot of those items that extend the time by 1 min & that would take a LOT of those to get your court to go for hours. Once you reach max rep w/one you never have to go back to do the invitation quest for that one again, not to mention you even have a soulbind that practically guarantee's you success. The fact that it's the only Covenant that gets these little boosts during certain Holiday Events makes it even easier. Relax. Unwind. Enjoy. =)
Kyrian PoA I literally can do in a two day weekend at starting from rank 5 so long as I have the Medallions of service and even then on my hunter I just grabbed chests in Bastion to get what I needed. Ember Court is something that I can only do once a week and is limited how many Crystal Rubies you have to shuffle your guests, couple that with having to redo a invitation quest every week per guest PoA is much simpler, perhaps more annoying and more focus intensive depending on the boss and who you have to beat the boss with(Mostly Craven Corinthe with Mikanos and Klea). Ember Court may be 'easy' in function and what you have to do but it does not allow you to just get everything done at your own pace it demands a several month investment.
