I really hope this is intended. The last two bosses from mythic raids having higher ilvl gear than everything else makes so much sense. Raiding requires much more time investment and commitment compared to m+ or pvp. It always felt weird for pvpers to get mythic raid level weapons and trinkets etc, especially when m+ players didn't. BUT.. Here's the thing. With "pvp scaling" also being added, is this change really needed? I wouldn't mind pvpers being able to get ilvl 252 weapons and trinkets as long as they don't scale above ilvl 259 in pvp.I don't want pvpers to feel like they get cut out of other content if they decide to focus on PVP so letting them at least get "second best" ilvl for pve on some pieces while also giving them highest ilvl for pvp(through scaling) would be better imo. That way, their gear will still be good for PVE but it will never be as good as a mythic raiders gear.I'm not sure what to do about specs having vers as their best stat for PVE tho.. Those specs might feel forced to PVP either way, at least for progression.
So top end-PvE gear is as good as top-end PvP gear now, for PvP scenarios. I see where this is starting to trend towards all ... over .... again.
