Honestly the Warcraft movie took too many liberties with the story as it is -- these changes to the lore across three movies would have been shameful to watch in parts. ESPECIALLY considering how they just skip the burning of Stormwind and the Second War.We didn't need a shot-for-shot remake of the Warcraft story (which, there really isn't even one now if you think about it, so that would have been impossible), but the inconsistencies between the source and film hurt it across all types of audiences. The original story was better, for starters, so new-comers were denied a better arc, and for enthusiasts; we were offered some white guy sacrificing himself to save the peace instead of the grim events that fueled generations of hate.
Oh pls yes Warcraft has so much potential as a Series of Movies but only if its handed to someone who wants to go serious with it. Also i Think it would be better as an Animation like we know from Blizzard. Just Imagine a Movie with the Quality of the Shadowlands Trailer.....Gooooosebumps everywhere!
Never understood how people struggled to follow the movie which is a common gripe. I brought several non player friends during viewings cause I wanted to support the film and no one had a hard time with it. It wasn't perfect by any means but I genuinely liked it for something they tried to make appeal to the general public and if you wanted it to be exactly like the game then you were never going to be satisfied. Give and take. Give and take. I would love to see more.
Streaming-company-sponsored TV Series. Lesser known talents. High budget to be used strategically by a creative director. Blizzard advisors, both devs and fans (Red Shirt Guy, obviously) to make sure there aren't any major rewriting issues. The path is clear, it only takes them balls.
Everyone cryed and said the movie sucked but i liked it alot and held out hope for another moive.

Lets not lie and pretend GoT was all bad, season 8 was lackluster n kinda meh bad but 1-7 was good and if Blizz did go the HBO route I believe the series would still be good, HBO,Starz n Showtime make some good *!@# but Netflix I can see them doing justice on the Diablo n Overwatch, they create some pretty good anime at times if you avoid the cgi stuff, also i would like to see another WoW movie cause the other was like a 50/50 good n bad but quite enjoyable, but thats my opinion so don't take it serious
Glad #2 and #3 didn't appear tbh, #1 was beyond bad. Cut dialogue, mis matched scenes, weird thrown around plot, bleh.I'd rather of seen the Arthas arc, with flashbacks for context in places; maybe even a sister TV show filling in the blanks.
I did like they made a Warcraft Movie, but I didn't like the movie at all! I watched it 3 times in total and after the last time I was really done with it.. I really like the WoW Cutscenes 100 times better then the entire film! It could have been so much better.. I am not saying the Director made a $%^&ty movie, but I do say the movie missed alot of Warcraft Love.. I do hope there will be a sequal/triology to complete the story and to make it better then the first movie.. Altho the movie "FAILED" I would watch the sequal.. I believe in 2nd chances! As a Star Wars Fan I watched all the movies, multiple times and even the fact the Disney Triolgy/Films were terrible I did enjoy them.. I can be very neutral and watch/enjoy a film and accept it flaws, but I allways hope the Directors/Producers listen to the public and try to do things different/better.. Even if the movie didn't make the money they hoped for, a sequal can make the difference.
Just produce a full CGI mini series and I'll die happy.
If HBO got hold of the rights you would have Gnome-Tauren sex scenes in the opening minutes. That would probably sell, and that would damn the human race to an eternity, because it would make money and no one would care about the story line. Same as GoT trash.
anyone actually expecting another movie after that abomination? BFA Trailer for Battle of Lordaeron have a waaaay better quality in animation than this movie. Even WC3 cutscene from ages ago still better than that movie. Lore wise, creating new character on top of a very established lore is a bad idea. I just hope they stop making that kind of movie and just focusin on making longer cutscene, trailers, or short movies like they did in BFA.
So two more movies focusing on orcs and humans, with a splash of Trolls and Tauren. No thank you! You may make classic Warcraft fans happy with these ideas, but there are many many more WoW players who want Undead, Elves, Dwarves, Goblins, etc. and we want to see the familiar locations from the game (and the music) on the big screen. Make mention of PVP and professions. Throw in a joke about hunter loot. But make it mostly serious. I’ll wait for that.
An entire trilogy about pickles? That would be extremely boring. Talking about the already existing movie, the only good part of it was Lothar and graphics I guess, the rest of the movie was controversial in bad sense to say at least.
A Warcraft TV Series, that's all I want.
