I love the idea of no level cap now that we are always going so deep into the grinds of borrowed power, plus scaling a xpac down for the next just sounds like a great fit for the current lvling system for new players. I really like that idea.Micro class just sounds silly, we barely tune the classes we have. I just do not like that ideaClass skins.... or green fire 2.0 I am 100% for. That is such a cool cosmetic feature to the game that adds no impact except 100% pure joy. To me it makes sense, there is so many classes in this game it would make 0 sense to implement, but they are here. Nightmare druid, over the dream. That is pretty rad. We are at a point in the game right now were real cosmic enemies are going to start to peer their heads out so having a nightmare druid fight alongside me, doesn't... not make sense. Same with the other idea put forth as well. Im not really sold on dragonsworn shaman, but the expansion could develop that a bit better. The cov system reimplemented wouldn't be the worst of ideas either. a year and a half ago, id have puked a bit in my mouth, but they really did do a good job late in the game on them and going forward I'm sure a new system would only build on it.also, I hope Quel’thalas doesn't get smashed by the scourge again... poor Quel’thalas..
leveling alts is pretty much the reason I bring my alts out every expansion, and then have them enjoy some casual stuff at max. I would be disappointed if they just stopped us from gaining levels again, and I know I'm not the only one.
Most of this I hope will happen in the future for WOW. I also doubt the name will just be WOW: Dragonflight. The devs could come up with something better imo. World of Warcraftt is an amazing game and every expansion makes the game better (except for removing vanilla 1-60 zones and not having an option to switch with the cata 1-60). Everything else is fine by me. The Dalaran as main faction hub for the 3rd time? Idk. It has been longer between expansions since we had the last zones revamp. I would like to see all pre-WOD content receive graphics that match everything that has come after that. I also wish the devs would encourage players to spend more time on just one main character per faction. Or a way to penalize players that skip and rush. A player SHOULD have to complete all dungeons before being able to enter a raid. A player SHOULD have to complete questlines in order to unlock a dungeon. Similar to how BC had keys. Instead of making things easier they should be made harder. More challenge, more adventure. Less time worrying about the toxic QQ babies and more time focused on the rest of us. I would also like to see a real RP-PVP server with rules enforced and have ever-changing, repeatable world quests and activities added to ALL zones so players can go back to spend more time in older content. Many think WOW is just the newest xpac and then focus only on that xpac until the new one. But WOW is really a huge adventure that spans from vanilla all the way to shadowlands, where these older zones still provide insane amounts of fun even if we outleveled them. It didnt happen in BFA, but I was hoping we would have an xpac made of a bunch of island zones and all the waters surrounding them. Where players can create different water mounts and ships that can be manned by multiple players. Maybe even a guild barge or a special order/covenant like ship. Blizzard will always make amazing expansions but it is up to players to play correctly and enjoy that content. I wish players would spend more time enjoying all of WOW instead of just one tiny aspect they repeatedly rush over and over. Lots of us play to have fun and we do enjoy all of WOW, but to have a really full experience, other players and guilds should have some reward to get them to join in on all the fun. Anyways, I know this expansion will be great! Just do not forget that many of us cannot play 12hours a day and we do not get burnt out, so when you see hate and toxic complaints, its usually coming from those who play way too much and too often.
Half of this sounds truly horrible and no way I'll be playing 10 if this leak is true.
I mean it's all wild speculation. Two things though that I do see likely happening, however, is the means of more customization (class skins, player housing, etc.) and something that revamps leveling.Remember that the recent lawsuit resulted in some restructuring and got rid of some of the dude-bros who were terrified of players having more means to customize their characters are opposed to punching gods in the face in a raid. Hell, we technically didn't need to have customization for Pocopoc, but we got it anyway, which is already a start of something. As for leveling though, that will pose a challenge as to how to make it work. Personally I'm not really into having to jump up several levels and then get another leveling squish that causes all sorts of problems after completion.
There are some interesting ideas here but the one I like the most is the class skins. It would be so cool to give litttel tweaks to the different classes to make them fit a slightly different theme or race like arcane hunters or dark rangers, elune priests and blood priests, dragon warriors, naaru paladins and priests vs sunwalker paladins, vs human/dwarf paladins spell effects, voodoo shadow priests, etc. Would not require more balancing, just add to the world and the personality of characters which is what everyone wants. More control of character story and appearance is better. I hope these happen!
Balancing 4 single spec classes would be a nightmare and really dangerous for the health of the game. They'd be strictly fotm with no alternative other than completely swapping characters.
Hunters can already tame plenty of "Undead" creatures, so Dark Ranger doesn't seem too far off. That said I really wish Blizzard would allow DEATH KNIGHTS the ability to control Undead more than anything, they're stuck with only a handful of undead creatures.
so why does this still keep happening? they know theres dataminers, since like the wotlk beta/alpha or even before that, who dissect every byte. why register the dragonflight site like 3 weeks before the reveal instead of after it?it has to be intentional leaking to curb peoples expectations and kinda make them accept that its gonna be dragons.
Most likely a late April Fools joke from my guess.
I very highly doubt that there is no level cap increase and squish to Shadowlands rewards. A lot of this honestly sounds like wishful thinking to me.
To point out, its all nothing more than speculation. We won't know anything until this coming Tuesday.
The entirety of the next expansion takes place in Torghast. There will be no loot because who needs loot in a game like this? The new currency will be pocket lint. We will get new class skills like "Avoid boredom in repetitive content" and "Detect nice people to play with in premade groups" (strangely, it almost never works).
