Why do they have to make the creatures so..humanlike, it's pretty obvious the furry angle they're going for. I really dislike the art direction, It really looks bad for the setting.
The reptile 'dracthyr' look way too much like a reptile and not much like a dragon, it's so dissapointing for me, considering it's one of the main attractions of the expansion. They don't look epic at all, in the way that other hero classes looked in the past.Furbolgs look so different and nothing reminding of the old furlbolgs look. Anyone can just check google images for some nice furbolg artwork - the new furbolgs don't share anything with those, they should have been named otherwise tbh.Gnolls also don't have much in common in their facial expression with the original ones or with any wow gnoll artwork - rather, they were designed to look like the 'universal' gnolls from RPGs, but a big departure from the wow original look. Also the UI goes completely against the principles they said in the announcement, that they want a fresh UI, made for the modern high resolution and big displays. Showing the old unitframes, old chat makes it look pretty bad. The effect is further amplified considering it's 4K screenshots and the unitframes are still being shown in the far top left corner, eye gymnastics - when they specifically said they want a better default/out-of-the-box UI for the modern hardware, with everything closer to the center of the screen. Also, it's so weird seeing all those interviews with the devs and noone thought of asking about what happened with the UI revamp and especially with the unitframes revamp, which was really the biggest change seen in the first new UI screenshots revealed.
I just can't get over how bad the Dracthyr look.
