WoD all over again with the 100 recolors of mounts
Guys there's only one Alar, one Invicible, one Mimiron's head etc. Blizzard most of the time usses recolors for content that is easy to play, while putting unique rewards only for high end (pve and pvp). I think people became very greedy with the reward system...
Blizzard needs to make base mount unlocks then the recolors that are unlocked with other various content are in a sub menu from that base mount in a similar way to the legion artifacts it would tidy up the UI and endless scrolling of recolors.
Recolor because cheap and "we made you a reward please be happy now".
And yet you tend to ignore all other "unique" mounts. I quote uninque because very few mounts each expansion are created with unique skeleton.
Sick, more recolors.
I think it's cool they are adding unused recolors and tbh I hate the gorms as mounts but this is the first one to have a color I like. I won't be bothered to farm it though. But the hound looks pretty cool, although it is very similar to the one dropping in Theatre of Pain. They could've used the black unused one: https://www.warcraftmounts.com/mount.php?mountid=1222Still kinda similar, but not that much imo.
Are my Kyrian Lynx mounts still locked under covenant restrictions?
So people feels they should be rewarded for completing a story progression? Tell me again how many times you've got a mount for completing a campaign? To begin with, there were no "campaign" before WoD. Secondly, "patch" progressions never dropped any mount. You are not entitled to get a "reward" for completing a storyline. Let alone those "reward" costs way more than you could imagine to make. If rigging and modeling was that easy and efficient then you wouldn't had to cry about it, cuz even random tom &*!@ and harry would make a mount every mount.
For those whining about "recolors".... here's your solution. When they drop for you, just delete them. You won't have to look at all the "ugly recolors" in your mount list. Problem solved. For those crying that these new mounts "aren't content".... understand that "content" means different things to different people. Just because YOU want new and exciting "mount models" doesn't mean other people think that time spent developing new mount models actually counts as "new content".A LOT of people frankly don't give a @#$% about having a ton of different mounts. So your "content" isn't the same "content" (or lack thereof) for many other people. There IS NO universally agreed on definition of "content".It's perfectly fine to not like the mounts. That's your right. It doesn't mean there isn't "content" in the patch. It just ain't the "content" you wanted. Deal with it.
