Certainly makes sense for the future but still curious to learn whether there's other reasons for the leaders to head out to do other things. In general, I just really wanna know what war campaign related shenanigans we'll get up to in 8.2.5.
Ji and Aysa: "Hey, so, uh... I'll just.. hang out here. Sure. You guys go do your thing. <twiddles thumbs>"
A curious change. I hope it's not a permanent one, I liked being able to see all the racial leaders in one spot. I wonder if these changes mean we're getting more allied races soon. Making them less tied to a racial leader could open up the possibilities a bit more, I guess.
There's also the low likelyhood this is all tied to the removal of faction locking in some way or another. I mean, I'm sure people would welcome this choice, though with starting zones being what they are, I wonder how they'd even be able to implement it.......
I'd rather they have actual named representatives than just " Representative". We've already seen certain Allied Races, like the Dark Iron, have established political structures involving ambassadors. They don't need to do anything at all, but having named characters, rather than generic ones, makes the world feel much more alive and organic.
The developers remembered the leaders of the pandaren? Oh wow! I thought they do not need after the Wandering Isle.
but i liked seeing all racial leaders in one spot...
Holy %^&*, Ji finally moved! Progression, I suppose...
I think the most exciting part of this is that, if they're bothering to update the embassy now, we'll probably be getting more allied races this expansion. I was starting to worry we'd have to wait until 9.0 for the next ones.
So the only racial leaders who didn't have anything better to do than to sit at the emissary and push some pencils are the Panda leaders... This actually makes sense.
Can you guys stop this "faction removed" thing? Still speculating because you keep posting it. It will never happen and you know it.
I don't know how this can be a foreshadowing of deaths. That doesn't usually matter. More along the case that we will be getting races related to the Pandaren. Likely Ankoan, since they are very much like Pandaren in their beliefs and are related to the Jinyu. And maybe Vulpera because they are, well furry. They probably just needed more room for future use.
The Pandaren leaders haven't contributed much to the story recently, and it's logical that they'd take on a welcoming role in the expansion, recruiting new Allied Races instead of directly aiding the bloodshed.Look closely, new allied races, there but for the grace of Blizzard go ye.
Well, that's interesting. I guess that puts paid to my theories about there being an allied race for each racial leader. Or maybe not and they're just trying to obscure it... but having the leaders there definitely made it seem more likely to me. And I guess unless we do get jinyu/hozen, we'll never know now what allied race would have paired with pandaren in particular.Hopefully this does mean more allies to come, and maybe even streamlining the process. I didn't mind the first few rep grinds for one reason or another, but adding new reps for every allied race just for the sake of it would be a bit much.
Wasted opportunity.Could have had the representatives give a little dialogue about how their people view the current situation. Something to flesh them out a little more.
Can we hope that Ji firepaw will lead the horde and Aysa Cloudsinger will lead the alliance?
Hmm now what is that old bear up to always thought goblins would be the vulpera's in race for the horde but they were datamined to play a role in brewfest along with the mechagnomes who anyone that has unlocked the bar know create some potent drinks and pandaren love their brew....
Sylvanas: GRRR.. Eitrigg and Rohkan probably went to go help Baine and that traitor. And Lor'themar is busy with the campaign against Azshara... Gallywix to me! We'll deal with these Alliance dogs ourselves.Gallywix: Of course your grace, but who's gonna watch the Embassy while we're away?Sylvanas: Oh right that... uhh.. *Points at Ji* YOU! GUARD THIS PLACE WITH YOUR LIFE!*Ji watches Gallywix and Sylvanas leave then looks at the empty embassy room*Ji Firepaw: It's nice to feel useful and relevant again...
