If a character of yours doesn't hit the Conquest cap, you won’t miss out. You won’t lose Conquest or the chance to get the Conquest reward for this week. If you wanted to, you could wait three weeks and then accumulate the Conquest for three rewards in one day. https://t.co/olRrhbLZv0— WarcraftDevs (@WarcraftDevs) September 10, 2018

When you are a Paladin/Warrior can you also pick up a shield instead of a one hand weapon?
Yup, I'm playing as arms and I got a damn 1h for this week, as if I'd ever use a 1h for pvp
If only PvP was balanced and fair.Random BGs where not a nice place to visit as Alliance player to begin with, but since the release of the pre-patch my win-rate reached its all time low.Even Isle of Conquest. It only feels bad so my incentive to expand this to RBG is very small, even with a bg fat carrot like this. And every time I check it my faction needs more players, the bonus seems to be up all the time for Alliance. The system very obviously is broken and probably beyond repair by now.Have fun with your que times.
The trouble with the current pvp rollout is that there is a lack of specificity as to both the rewards and the tasks needed to complete them. The Wowhead conquest page reflects this inconsistency.1. The in game reward does not correctly reflect the conquest cap reward.2. The quest giver in Boralus Harbor (for the Alliance) does not explain how the weekly quest works or whether there is a cache and how to obtain it.3. In terms of the capped rewards, there is no explanation as to how unrated pvp works -- epic BGs are 65 and then drop to 15 after the first completion for the week. Random BGs and Brawls reset so they are 40 for the first attempt dropping to 8, but then reset upon the daily quest.4. Once you hit the cap there is no sign that you need to go anywhere -- even a pop up to your quest giver in the pvp area would be helpful. As a result, you are basically forced to go offline and research how the system works. In terms of planning out how to hit the cap as a casual pvp participant who does not want to deal with the rating hassle of 2v2 and 3v3 combat or YOLO groups in rated battlegrounds, there is an optimal pattern right now which consists of the following: Epic BG once per week (65), Call to Arms (50), and Weekly Air Drop (50). It is not clear to me if the kill 1 Horde quest will be repeatable. This leaves you at 165 + Unrated BG (40) and Brawl once per day (40). If you get the non repeating 165 -- you need to clear a total of 335 CPs left which implies a little over 4 days of PVP. You can add in skirmishes (15) or other BGs (Epic is 15 right now after the first one) to fully cap without needing a partner in the arenas.
I have done daily PVP since reset, yet have no Conquest Points. Also, the "reward" is a bow, I am spec'ed, loot preferences as SV. What am I missing?
Wait, so are we supposed to get the quest as soon as we hit 500 Conquest? My bar has been at 500/500 for days and I haven't received any quest. Does it appear after reset or is this a bug?
Bring back pvp vendors!
this is good info to have ~30 hours before reset...
I agree with everyone saying this should have been posted MUCH earlier in the week. I'm looking at the linked Conquest Points guide, and all of the high points are from "First win of the day". So that's six days worth of "First wins" that we're out on already.
in whos mind do they think the 345 weapon is any good? every epic weapon i have recieved is a stupid 1 hander i dont play prot i play ret and yes my gear is set for ret but rewards are always crappy prot or holy .
There are two major things wrong with this article. 1. Conquest points roll over to the next week if you didn't reach your cap. 2. You still have access to the weapon next week. Next week you reach your conquest cap, get the weapon, and then start working on the 2nd week's conquest cap for the 2nd item. Everything I've seen from Blizzard on the topic has stated this, and I haven't see any information from blues that indicates that this article is correct in these claims. And if the article is accurate, then not only has Blizzard gone back on what they told us was going to be in the game, it is also a step backward from how conquest functioned in the past with the old conquest roll over system.

I busted my ASS off in normal BG's (I'm in a small guild and just returned so not a lot of friends to pvp group with) and found this Conquest system to be a farce!1. Rated PVP - again if your in a small guild and don't have a lot of friends rated pvp is NOT an option. I tried both joining group in the LFG tool and creating one. I coudln't get into a group and when I made one we went 0-3 and I disbanded the group.2. 500 conquest points is a LOT when you are getting EIGHT a match. And that's only for wins. If you lose...you essentially wasted 15 minutes or more of your life because you get a big fat goose egg for your trouble, ZERO points conquest points. You SHOULD get something even if it's just 25 or 50% of a win. 3. Warfronts made ALL my work of hitting 500 conquest in regular BG's obsolete! I went in and did ONE Warfront and got a 370 staff where I only got a 345 wand for all the work grinding out the 500 conquest. If that 500 mark goes UP every week this is going to be NO fun trying to get equipment from just normal BG's.So to summarize, 370 gear for 30 minutes of work in a warfront, 345 gear for hours and hours of work (and putting up with BAD matches) for regular BG's. This NEEDS to change!
