It actually looks pretty cool
I’m looking forward to this game. I’ll continue to play WoW and SC2 when I’m at home with my PC, but I’ll happily play some Diablo Immortal when I’m out and about during the day and have some down time.
It looks great, but this doesn't tell me what I want to know: When can I play it?
I legit don't understand the decisions behind this game and why they thought it was good idea to announce it at Blizzcon of all things. Who would play this if they already have Diablo 3 (the audience who would really have any interest in this) as it's just a mobile knock off and they already own something better, especially when Diablo 4 is on the horizon and they have significantly more interest in that. I get they want something on mobile because of the Chinese mobile gaming market but it just makes the announcement in the West all the more baffling.
The announcement has been well documented as a PR disaster and they have admitted as such. The game will do well in western and Asian markets there is no doubt about it. I am only a part time Diablo player at best, I play through the story because I enjoy it. I will definitely play this as well as Diablo 4.
I'm pretty confident the game was already ready when it was first announced at Blizzcon. It's a reskin of another Chinese mobile game. I assume after they saw the negative response from people they pulled the plug and decide to make an actual mobile game that's theirs. That's good and all, but I don't see the Blizzard fanbase playing the game. I know there are a lot of people who say that they will play it, heck even I've decided to give it a try, but it's a damn mobile game. I don't know about others but for me you can't compare PC and mobile gaming, so I don't see myself playing it for more than a day. After that there is a high chance I'll uninstall it and never look back like I've done with literally any mobile game I've tried including those that I actually really liked. A mobile game have at best a few days of gaming in it for a non-mobile player. For people that play mostly mobile, sure.. they will probably like it and let's be honest Blizzard is aiming at these people and not us, the loyal fans that've been with them for 10-15-20 years.I'm curious what specs the game will require. After all it's an ARPG. I think it's not a wise move to wait until the last moment to show the needed specs. Just saw in another article the specs. Also I really hope that people can't play it on PC through similar programs like BlueStacks. Why? Because I really want to see how long it will last without their actual fan base.
Well.. you can play it on the go with your phone and use an Android emulator in the PC.
Actually it looks pretty good... wasn't expecting to be interested in it but it looks really nice!the graphics are better than I expected, way better.. so looking forward to play the game when it comes out!
Maybe if folks stopped asking the same bad faith question. The world could do with more genuinely quality mobile games. It's the largest world wide market and it's bringing the joy of diablo to folks who haven't had the opportunity to enjoy the OG stuff.
