Make it permanent so we can defy gravity and match them in renown. ;)
Curiously they did this yet nothing new was added this year's event... :/
Guess adding the animation took less time over adapting horsemens loot to current ilvl of worldquests, would have expected the rings he can drop to be ilvl 99/100 too, but its last years ilvl82. And yea make the broom perma, with cast time, make it cost like all candy from all the worlds buckets or something.
As many legions of people before me have said.I would LOVE to have this mount (Magic Broom) Year round. They can take away the instant cast , only enable it during the event time, rest of the year it would be a standard cast time. Also , since Blizz loves "making nods to/Copying" other Magic/Sci-Fi/Fantasy franchises, it would be an opportunity to make different skins/colors of the broom in a Nod to the "Wizard with the oddly shaped scar" franchise...No Nimbus 2020 model please though...that sucker wouldn't work right and would probably always be on fire.
As everyone said, I wish for a permanent one. Doesn't matter if it has a cast time, it's just so neat. And also a witch hat what finally doesn't clip off all your hair!
It's definitely nice, but I like it because it's tiny.
Druids though...
What I really want is for them to make the Magic Broom a learnable, permament mount. Give it a cast time like normal mounts and it's set. Please, Blizzard!
Anyone else notice the tooltip doesn't reflect a "Duration?" Seems to hint that once obtained, we keep until next year.
"Small chance"? Then how come I get it so often? I guess "small" in this case may mean "less than half".Anyways, while it's a cool mount, I don't necessarily like it being a limited time thing. Personally, I wish that, like, Enchanters could make a flying broom mount, maybe with a cushion on it. Also, the character models when riding it just look so awkward and stiff. Also, I have "Shift+2" as the key bind for summoning flying mount, which I then also use to dismount a lot of the time. For some reason, putting the broom in place of my usual mount causes the keybind to only ever summon it, so it never dismounts. Kind of like using a macro to randomly summon a specific set of mount (say the three Netherlord's Wrathsteeds, for instance), since that tends to make your character start summoning a mount instead of dismounting.I will admit, though, it being insta-cast is really nice as you can dismount it while high up and then re-summon it before hitting the ground to drop altitude much more quickly, like what I do with my druid. If we had a permanent mount like this, it wouldn't be able to do that.
