Am I the only one here Who doesnt understand the new Kyrian Paladin Legendary? The previus one says that when you cast divine toll, It casts again every 10 second dealing 20% of the inicial damage. Now It does every 5 sec? With full power? Or Am I missing something? I think the new description is a bit confusing
Why does blizzvision feel the need to do class tuning every patch/other patch?
Pretty good changes. Blizz is steppin' it up good in Shadowlands. Lovin' it!
That monk change. Honestly feel embarrassed for whoever came up with that one. Must be the same group that gave us Scaredy Rat in Torghast.
Thoughts and math on the Demon Hunter Patch Notes:So for the Demon Hunter Unnatural Malice conduit change, here's where we are currently going from, with a 226 conduit (40% hunt damage):637% AP initial + 227.7% AP dot per target to 455% AP initial and 318.78% AP dot per target. So the scaling would be:Targets___9.0.5 Total %AP____9.1 Total %AP____1_________864.7%___________773.78%____2_________1092.4%_________1092.56%____3_________1320.1%_________1411.34%____4_________1547.8%_________1730.12%____5_________1775.5%__________2048.9%While this is a hit to our single target and instant burst damage, hitting 2 targets makes the total damage dealt match the 9.0.5 total, and scales higher from there with more targets. Basically seems to be a PvP nerf intended to stop insane burst from scaling out of higher levels of Unnatural Malice and higher AGI levels. I'm hoping that with the buffs to DH sustained damage, this will not kill all viability in arena for us... I think if they added an explosion effect at the end of the hunt that applied the bleed to up to 5 nearby targets, cumulative with those added by the dash, that it would go a long way to help the Hunt feel better in general -but especially after this change- rather than have us run around like headless chickens for the second or two after Hunt trying to run through as many targets as we can to apply the bleed...The Blazing Slaughter Legendary might be super strong in PvP if it procs Unbound Chaos with the free immolation aura, though giving up Darkest Hour or Collective Anguish in PvP will be hard with how much necessary defensive utility they give us... In PvE I don't see this legendary displacing any of the current favorites. As for the other covenant legendries:Blind Faith looks essentially dead for Havoc, and cannot compare to Razelikhs Defilement for Vengance.Demonic Oath may have some niche usage against demon heavy content.Agony Gaze Looks promising, though I don't think it will really come into usage until we get the ability to equip two legendries. I can see it synergizing very well with Darkglare Boon or Collective Anguish if the extra Eye Beam/Fel Devastation procs Agony Gaze's effect.I could see Blood Moon possibly being sleeper OP actually, depending on how it works with our Lost in Darkness Conduit, depending on how it's coded. If it ends up as being any time we are standing still and we have Spectral Sight active we go invisible? I think that Spectral Sight would become a crazy defensive cd where we pop it and then get 3+ seconds of us just phasing into stealth over and over as they enemy tries to do damage to us. Using this in the enemy burst rotation would completely disrupt them and make it unreliable, and would last during stuns and other ccs too.
unholy is by far the worst melee spec in pvp currently
The change to the newly added USELESS Elemental Shaman PvP talent is L A U G H A B L E !That said the other one looks interesting and what not.
I dont think they should nerf the conduit but make the buffs like nightfall malefefic wrath leg an necro be additive and not multiplicative
Seasoned Winds, Judgements of the Pure and 20% buff to Healing Rain in PvP clearly show that whoever came out with these changes doesn't play any form of rated PvP.Seasoned Winds - absolutely useless because Shaman is already disruptive and there is no way that you are going to drop Lasso, Grounding or Skyfury (since you are playing mostly castercleaves) for this and even if you play it they will basically CC you and kill your partner that doesn't get 20% damage reduction.Judgements of the Pure - Cleanse of the Weak already counters Ele and SP. Add this talent and Ele or SP will never have any dots vs enemy team if it's healed by H Pala unless Ele or SP plays with Affliction and the only option if they play with Mage will be either getting long CC chain on Pala or killing him in 100-0. So basically killing any chance for new comps for these specs and just making already best comps even more mandatory. On Ret this talent is even more disgusting. Not only it helps enemy healer dispel dots but also if Mage is kiting Ret and uses Frost Nova Ret can just press Judgement which is resource building strongest range spell of Ret on short CD that is also casted with Divine Toll and every 5 sec for 30 sec with a new legendary. This is absolutely stupid and if it goes live I'm instantly unsubscribing because there is no reason to play the game with clueless devs.20% buff to Healing Rain in PvP - how do I comment on this. PvP is not PvE - you can't taunt enemy player to stand in blue spot in arena so your partner gets extra healing. Even with 20% buff healing -> mana cost rate isn't making it worth unless you play Cleansing Waters but then you do it for dispel not healing. Overall meaningless change that might be just little bit more useful in RBG.
Could some kind hearted soul explain how the hunter pvp talent works and against which comp it would be useful?
